CHAPTER 17 WELCOME HOME

LUKES P.O.v

I have been in hospital for almost a week now and im finally getting out today. carter and my family have been great, they visited me the whole time i was in here. i totaly ruined the party that night we were in the crash. im just glad that me and car are both okay, i mean i couldnt bare it if one of us had died or something. i really do love her you know, and im so glad that i can soon call her my wife. larry from management came to see me  and i asked him if carter could come on tour with us, he said that was fine and im planning on asking her tonight. i think she will be happy and say yes, i hope she will.

"ready to go?" carter walked into my room and over to my bed where i was finishing packing my things up.

"sure am babe just let me grab a few things. i will get you in the reception area okay?" i told her while i packed my thing up from the bathroom.

"sure thing, dont be too long!" i herd her call before she left the room.

i was done packing and started down the hall when elise ran up to me tugging my trousers. she was a patient here being treated for lukimia that i had met on my second night here. she was a cutie, she always made me get well cards and we would play games in her room. i thought of her as my little sister even only knowing her for a week. while i was here it was her birthday and she turned 5 and I spent the whole day with her in her room playing and eating cake!

"promis you will come visit me lukey" she asked as i lifted her up for a hug.

"of course i will, i will be round every monday, wednesday and friday to play games with you, dont worry." i meant it i wasnt just saying that to make her feel better. i had a conection with her like she was family.

" elise come on sweety" her mom stood a few feet away montioning her to come.

" now i have to go but remeber to eat you food!" i set her down on ther ground and kneeled down looking at her

" no matter how much the hospital food stinks" i whisperd in her ear.

" okay lukey i will, see you on monday dont forget." and with that she skipped away back to her mom. she was so strong and brave i loved how she was so happy and living life.

CARTERS P.O.V

i was at reception signing luke out when i saw him comming down the hall but stop to speak to a little girl. they spoke for a while untll she went back to her mom.

"ready?" i asked as luke took my hand

"ready as i will ever be" he breathed out heavy and with that we headed for the doors. we reached the car and luke put his stuff in the back, the drive was silent but it was a nice silence. it was great to know that i wouldnt be spending my nights alone in our new home anymore. i missed his precence, i stayed at the hospital with him for the first 2 days but they soon told me i had to leave and sleeping without him next to me was a feeling i hated. since we were meant to have a house warming party that never happend ethan, blake and jack helped me organise a welcome home/ house warming party for luke comming home. we invited everyone. it was gonna be pretty big. our parents were comming, lukes brothers which let me tell you they are not the easiest people to persuade to do something. it was going to be great and the best part, well that was having luke beside me.

the drive was slow but we pulled up to our house blakes car was in the drive like we had planned.

"why is blake here?" he questioned pulling his bag from the back.

"she was helping me unpack some thing last night and ended up staying here. plus i hated sleeping in this house alone."  trying to think of a believable excuse for why she was here.
