CHAPTER 13 I PROMISE

CARTERS P.O.V

im so scared right now my audition is in 3 days and safe to say I'm more than scared. I really want this one but it shoots away in Australia for 3 years. I mean how am I meant to leave if I do get it. anyway, my birthday was great I got the usual clothes , money. luke is the sweetest that morning he got up early and tried to make me breakfast.  safe to say he nearly burnt the house down. today is the last day of school. thank god!

I got up out of bed and chucked on a pair of shorts and I all time low baseball tee. I didn't bother with much make up just some mascara and eyeliner as well as shoving my hair in a ponytail. I went down stair to see a note from my mom on the counter.

"carter. I will be back late tonight you can ask if someone wants to stay the night. there is food in the fridge. have a good last day sweety. love you. P.S if its
luke that stays NO funny business! "

I laughed at the last part. I got some breakfast and sat on the couch and turned on the news.

"today 5sos announced their headlining tour set to start in 2 months. roomers say that the all time low and Good Charlotte will make a few appearances in a couple shows"

I turned the tv off half in shock. why wouldn't he have told me this. I put my empty cereal bowl in the sink grabbed my bag, keys and phone and headed out the door. it was only 8.10 am so I decided to walk to school. just as I headed out the door I saw luke getting his mail in. he waved over for me to wait but I just continued to walk. I got to school and headed for my locker chucking my book in since I didn't need anything today.

"hey gorgeous" while wrapping his arms around me and turning me to face him.

"why did you not wait for me? I would have walked with you love." he asked confused.

I just shrugged my shoulders.

"I dunno must not have herd you I had my head phones in. and oh want to stay at mine tonight my mom wont be back till late and said you could." I said trying to ignore the fact he hadnt told me yet but tonight I was going to make him tell me.

"okay I will come over after school ill bring some movies and we can have a movie night. sound good?" he asked

"sounds good. and we have somethings to talk about." I said before the bell rang and I headed to registration. 

LUKES P.O.V

"we have something to talk about"

those words ringing in my head. what did she mean. maybe she wanted to break up. I was so confused by her words. I followed her to regi and took my seat next to Michael. 

"hey man you okay?" his concerned voice asked me.

"yea fine mikey." I replied not really focused on what I said

he turned back around and started speaking to carter , ash and cal but I wasn't concerned about that. all I wad concerned about wad what she meant by those words...

CARTERS P.O.V

luke looked awful. like he had just been hit by a bus. I continued to talk to ash cal and mikey when the bell for 1st period rang.

----skip first four periods-----

at lunch I went and sat at the table with everyone but luke wasn't there.

"hey mikey were is luke?" I questioned

"uhh went home I think said he wasn't feeling to great" he said while shoving cake down his throat.

I sat and ate my lunch in silence untill the bell for 5th rang. I gathered my stuff and headed to the assembly hall to watch FROZEN!!!

'----skip movie and bus home----

I walked up stairs and herd noises coming from my room.

"heloow whos there? " I said piking up a table lamp.

"I know confu" I said busting in the door to reveal a laughing luke.

"yea confu and about 3 other Japanese words" he said trying to control his laughter.

"whats all this" I asked looking at the massive floor bed he made of of pillows and blankets.

"well I figured we could watch movies and eat pizza." he said motioning me to get changed into something more comfy so I did. I changed into a pair of pajama shorts and his black nirvana tee he gave me.

" you look hot in my clothes" he said pulling me down beside him. he put in final destination and came and cuddled with me. half way through the movie I paused it.

"luke we need to talk I cant keep hiding how I feel about this. I need to know. " I said looking him in his ocean blue eyes.

"carter I love you please don't leave me!" he said quickly

"leave you were did you get this from. I want to know if its true. are you leaving in 2 months to go on tours for 2 years?" I asked scared of the answer. he hung his head and sighed.

"yes. I wanted to tell you myself. I I just didn't know how." he said as his eyes started to water. we sat in silence I didn't want to believe what I herd.

"look lets just make the most of what time we have just now. we will get through the long distance we are stronger than anything." he said comming closer to me

" i know we can luke. our love is too strong now to give up. we will make this work. i said hugging him tight.

we continued to watch a couple of movies cuddled up together. my mom said luke could stay. so we crawled into bed and i cuddled into his chest.

"i love you carter nothing is going to break us. i promise" he said kissing my head

" i love you too  luke" i whispered into his chest and fell asleep.

im so so sorry i havnt updateded in ages i have been away with my friends for a weekend. sorry this chapter is small and suckish but wanted to update. next chapter will be up tomorrow i hope. vote and comment. love you guys
