CHAPTER 14 AUDITIONS

LUKES P.O.V

i woke up with an empty space beside me. i looked at my phone 1.30. man i slept in. i got up and put on my joggies and a black tee. i walked down the stairs to the smell of bacon, i enterd the kitchen to see carter and her mom sitting eating bacon and potatoe scone rolls.

"goodmorning luke. you must have been tired" her mom asked

"morning mrs ryenolds" i said as i  smiled walking over to carter kissing her head

"please luke you can call me tracey" her mom stated getting up and putting her plate in the sink.

" Im away to work, now carter please run your lines i dont want you to mess this up, and luke im sure you will help her." she said  getting her car keys and heading out the door.

"luke i dont mean to be rude but can you maybe go home i really need to run these lines and concentrate." she said scanning her paper

"sure babe call me if you need help ok?"

"thanks luke i will"

i went upstairs grabbed my stuff and headed out the door when i herd her.

"so no goodbye kiss then. no. okay?" she said frowning

i ran back to her picked her up in my arms and kissed her with all the passion i had.

"i love you carter. call me after you audition and we will grab dinner okay"

"okay i love you too." i herd her call as i headed over to my house.

i called the guys, and we decided to write some new music.

CARTERS P.O.V

 i went up stairs and turned off all electrical devices i had. no distractions. i had probably highlighted my lines about 5 times. i got a old justin bieber poster out and pinned it to a chair pretending he was my co-star and running lines with it. say whatever you want but it helped me i could picture someone really being there. it was now about 6 so i decided i would grab some dinner, after i scanned the fridge and cupboards about 3 times i decided on mac'n' cheese. i waited for it to cook before returning to my room where I continued to run lines while eating the beautiful cheese creation i made. i turned on my phone to check the time. 8pm. i thought i would go for a shower and pick out my clothes so i would be all ready for tomorrow. when i got out the shower i walked over to my closet standing staring at the clothes. i soon decided i would wear a pair of black skinnes, a white vest top and a black cardigan on top, pairing it with my shiney black heels. i dryed my hair and and crawled into bed hoping i had done enough to get this part. i really wanted it. i soon drifted off to the sound of a guitar strumming which i assumed was luke from across the road.

LUKES P.O.V

today was pretty successful me and the boys got a couple new songs written and i har asked then all about an idea i had they all were pretty happy about it. I was sitting on my bed playing guitar to my favourite one we started to write today. it wasnt finished but it was going to be great.

I sang it sofly.

"lovers dance when they're feeling in love. spot light shining it's all about us"

(a/n this is not a 5s0s song its all about us by he is we.  but lets just pretend its a 5s0s song)

I continued to sing away until I was interupted by my brothers telling me to shut up so I put my guitar down and picked up my laptop. I went onto the tiffany website and looked at some things.  before I forgot I decided to text carter.

" hey babe I know your alseep but I thought I would leave this message for u in the morning.  so good luck with your call back you will kill it. I will pick u up at 5 tomorrow for dinner. I love you beautiful. oh and goodmorning xxx. "

I put my phone down and continued to look at the website...

CARTERS P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my alarm so I rolled over and turned it off. It was 6. I set it so id have plenty of time to get ready. my call back wasnt untill 10 so I decided to go for another shower to make sure I didnt stink. I got out the shower and put on the clothes I picked yesterday I also put my hair in a messy fish tale braid. I went down stair to get some breakfast and run lines for a while. when I was done I went back upstairs, I applied a little bit of make up consisting of concealer, mascara and eyeliner and looked at myself in the mirror.  it was about 8.45 so I called a taxi to get me and gatherd my phone, skript and keys ect...

the taxi arrived and since it was only 9 I asked if we could stop at starbucks before heading to the center. I ended up getting my usal. pumpkin spice latte.  man I love that drink. we were about 10 minutes away from the center and I looked at my phome checking the time but I noticed I had a text from luke.

*from hemmo*

"hey babe I know your alseep but I thought I would leave this message for u in the morning.  so good luck with your call back you will kill it. I will pick u up at 5 tomorrow for dinner. I love you beautiful. oh and goodmorning xxx. "

I smiled and put my phone in my pocket as we pulled up to the center. I paid they guy and he wished me good luck. I took a seat in the waiting area going over my lines. there was 3 or 4 other girls here for the same call back and I became so nervous.  my hands started sweating and I started to feel sick. I waited for about 15 minutes when I herd my name called.

"carter ryenolds please" a women said before she dissappear around a corner agian. 

I got up and followed her

"hi you must be carter im stan the director.  I saw your audition tape and loved it" he said sticking out his hand for me to shake

"hi im really happy you liked it. I really have worked to hard for this" I said trying not to sound to desperate.

"this is marc he is playing the lead or you love interest in the movie. he is here to do the scene with you today" the lady stated while pointing to a tall brown haird green eyed boy. 

"so lets get started" stan said motioning us to start.

man im glad thats over it went really well. they said I have a good chance at this so im happy. I phoned my mom to let her know I was on my way home but would be going out with luke tonight and also how the call back went. I then phoned luje to cheak we were still on for tonight and he told me he would get me at 5, so I went home took another shower and changed into a red dress with a pair of black heels

and I left my hair the same.

soon enough luke was at my door.

"holy man I thought I looked good but you win you look amazing carter." he said jaw dropped.

"why thank you. dont look to bad yourself" I replied trying to hide the fact I was blushing.

"hey its cute when u blush dont hide it. common my lady we have reservations at the lotus tonight" he said taking my hand and leading me to his car.

"oh fancy" I said giggling and getting in.

we got to the restaurant and were escorted to a booth in the back where it was quite. we orderd our food and waited for it to come. luke looked nervous he was sweating buckets. I wonder what was wrong with him.

LUKES P.O.V

man I was nervous.  but I love her and I have to do this. I spoke to the guys about it and they all supported me. my mom was over the moon about it said her little boy was growing up. after our food came I took her hand in mine. and began to speak....
