I have a date

Ae Sook's POV

Today's the day the exam results come out. After we came back from the concert we all go used on our studies and it turns out, Taehyung is quite studious.

I run out the car as soon as Taehyung stops at our normal, daily routine area.

He drives past me even though I'm running but when I reach the school I find Taehyung waiting for me at the entrance of the school, the girls boggling at him as they passed him and I rolled my eyes.

"Why did you wait?!" I asked him as I jogged past him and he shrugged and followed me.

Once we reached the board where the results are put up, we see the 5 boys and Ah Reum at the back of the crowd.

Taehyung takes my hand once we reach the crowd and pushes through to the front.

My face burns up but I keep my head down and walk anyway.

As we come to the front I slowly look from down to up and my eyes light up as I see Taehyung's rank.

"Wah! 3rd! I didn't know you studied so much!" I said with a smirk.

"Aish. Don't tease" he says shyly as he rubs the back of his head.

I smile and turn my head back to the board since I think I skipped my name but my eyes widen as I turn to stare at the board.

2nd rank in my whole grade! Daebak I've still got it!

I pump my fist in the air and then the 1st rank catches my eyes.

My eyes widen slowly as I stare at the name beside #1.

I turn and spot him slowly walking towards the crowd around the board.

My face lights up and I feel a light shiver down my spine.

I push out of the crowd and run to him just as he looks up.

Ahhhhh! He looks so good with his glasses on and his grey coat.

His face lights up as he sees me and he stops.

"Ahhhh! Daebak! You got 1st rank in our whole grade!" I said as I nearly banged into him, but he caught my shoulders just in time before I could crash.

"Jinjja?" He says with a din play smile.

I nod really fast and then feel a little giddy.

"What about you?" He said as I slowly realised that his hands were still on my shoulders.

My face obviously burned.

"No need to get shy I'm sure it's not that bad a rank" he says, his smile still plastered across his face.

"Oh it's not a bad rank at all" Taehyung said as he clapped my shoulder right where Namjoon's hand was.

"She got 2nd rank. And Taehyung here," Ah Reum said, glaring at Taehyung scornfully, "got a rank one higher than mine".

I chuckled.

"Hey! Ae Sook robbed my usual rank okay" he said as he glared at me.

We had a staring contest going on fir a lying time while Namjoon and Ah Reum just stared at us. Around 2 minutes have passed!

"What's up?" Jimin said, scaring both Taehyung and me since he popped out of nowhere.

"Ommo! You scared me!" I said as I kept my hand on my heart over-dramatically.

He slowly leaned down to Ah Reum's ear level and whispered,"I saw your rank, congratulations!" And then he gave her a quick peck on her cheek and Ah Reum's face turned a bright red.

I chuckled.

I felt someone's gaze in me and turned to face Namjoon and then Taehyung but then looked back at the couple.

Ah Reum turned around to face him but her face turned even more red when she realised how close the two of them were to each other.

"What are you doing?!" She whispers loudly.

"I don't see your point of whispering" Yoongi says from behind me all of a sudden, scaring all of us, especially me since I nearly fell! But Taehyung held my shoulders and stopped that from happening.

"What?" Yoongi said and we all shook our heads as he shrugged.

In no time all of us were there and we were waiting for Jungkook.

"Hello! Thanks for waiting!" He said as he approached with a wide grin plastered on his face.

"I got 1st rank in my grade!" He said as he practically jumped up and down.

"Aw! Congratulations you little bunny!" I said.

"Gomawo noona!" He said as he continued to grin. I'm wondering whether or not his ancestors were bunnies...

"HEY! CONGRATS KOOK!" Taehyung practically shouted as he leaned forward and the two boys did a handshake.

"Truly our Golden Maknae!" Jin said sincerely.

They all congratulated him and we decided that we should head to our lockers before it's too late and we part.

"Hey!" Taehyung said as he walked up to my locker at the end of the day.

"You going to the party tonight?" He asks with his hands in his pockets.

"Dae. Namjoon asked me to ho with him" I said as a blush rose up my face.

"Oh" he said. I think I hear a glint of disappointment in his voice... Who am I kidding? I'm probably hallucinating!

"Well have fun! I don't think I need to tell you that though" he says with a smirk as he starts to walk away.

"Hey wait!" I say and he turns to face me.

"Dae?"

"Mianhe! I just realised that if your going then you'll have to go alone... Would you want to join us?" I say slowly.

He chuckles and my face contorts in confusion.

"Alone? Me? Never! I have a date, Ae Sook" he says and he turns his back as he smirks and winks at me.

Well annoying, smirk-face, jerk-face Taehgung's back.
