today was even colder! and i still don't know how to dress for it!
let's get this done so I can go to bed.
first period we did dodgeball which is pretty cool i guess. minus the parts when you-know-who and I kept making extremely awkward eye contact.
second period we learned about our carbon footprint.
third period we took our diagnostic for the second time and began a packet on george washington's legacy which I finished that class period.
fourth period we went to the library and got books for our black history month projects! I love ida b. wells so much already! what I wonderful woman she was.
after I got that book, I felt the need to get another book. I decided upon a biography about vincent van gogh. I looked in section 92 van for it but it wasn't there! I asked my teacher and I asked the librarian. eventually we found it in 92 gog. she said she needs to change the call number for the book so people can actually find it. then I renewed my sherlock book! it's so good omg.
fifth period we spilt into groups again. and once again i finished my work and read whilst the rest of the group I was in, messed around, talked loudly, and basically did anything but work. which they got yelled at for :)
lunch was less boring because you-know-who kept asking about what I was going to do with the snow tomorrow. sigh.
sixth period we learned more about airports and played bingo and someone brought up friends in spanish and out of no where you-know-who says, "DALÍA IS MY FRIEND! SHE ALWAYS HELPS ME WITH SPANISH AND OTHER THINGS!" I just tried to sink into my seat as far as I could. it didn't work. my teacher just laughed and smiled at me. I was also asked to tutor a student.
el was easy, all I had to do was have them take a quiz online that our teacher made, review which them, ask which ones they needed help on, and then have them retake the quiz. the first test score for them was 78 I think. after retaking it they got a 93.
now im prepared and ready to sleep!
