Valerian x Reader *DISCONTINUED*

Chp. 3

When we got to the simulator, I sat down on the chair thing that I slept on as Valerian was trying to get the simulator going.

"So, what am I supposed to trust you on? You're not going to be the next one to kill me are you?"

"After what just happened in the room? Of course not, (Y/N)." By the time he looked back at me, my body flushed with red as I slightly touched my lips remembering the feeling of him and I being so close.

"Alright, (Y/N), close your eyes." I heard cricket noises, wolves howling at the moon when I felt a hand touch my cheek. I opened my eyes to look at the stars. There were many stars twinkling as meteorites zipped through the night sky.

"Thank you, Valerian. This is really gorgeous. I love it.", I said smiling and shivering a little bit.

"Your welcome. You know this night was a little wacky, don't you think?", Valerian asked in kind of a weird tone.

I looked back at him as he smiled, gently brushing my cheek with his thumb. We just stood there, listening to the night sky, staring at each other for a few moments. Valerian was still brushing my cheek when he got a little closer each second.

As he kept getting closer, my hand reached for his head as we made contact. His hand was lowering for my hip as I held his head. I pulled back with my hand lying on top of his hand which was on my hip.

"You know that we can't keep doing this, even if you're trying to get me alone, Valerian. I think we should take things a little slow."

"I think that we're going at a normal speed, (Y/N). Besides, you know you enjoy my company."

"You don't know that. But still, we should take it slow. I don't want to rush it. And I'm tired."

"Fine, I'll walk you to bed. I'm actually a little tired myself after today."

Valerian got up off of the chair and turned off the beautiful night sky. I tucked my long hair behind my ear following Valerian to my room. He opened my door which ended up being...his room?

"Valerian, I already told you. I don't want to do this. Not right now."

"I know. But there's another bed on the other side of the room that you can sleep in."

I didn't say anything except taking a sigh of relief that he wasn't trying to get me to sleep with him. I walked towards the bed and crawled in and slept.
