Valerian x Reader *DISCONTINUED*

Chp. 10

"Laureline, I would like you to meet Valerian and (Y/N). They're here to become one of us."

Laureline walked over with her hands wrapped in bandages wearing some shorts and a sports bra. She quickly wrapped her hair in a messy bun.

I looked over at Valerian who doesn't really look like he was happy to see her. I looked back at Laureline who was still making her way over.

It was then that I realized that I remember seeing her face on Valerian's 'Playlist'. I took a deep breath as she approached us.

"Major Laureline, nice to meet you. I'm just training here as you've probably noticed. What can I help you with?"

We all looked at the Commander, "We're just here to give them a quick tour, show them to some people, and give them a quick glance of how everything goes."

Laureline smirked, "Well, I hope everything plans well for these two. Especially (Y/N)." I looked at her with a confused look as she looks back at Valerian.

"Always expect the unexpected, Valerian. Things show up in places you don't expect them to be. Keep your head high. Hope you enjoy the tour. Glad to have met you, (Y/N)." With that, Laureline walked back to her training as the Commander led us to the next stop.

At this point, there were guards and agents in every corner of the area. I assumed that this room was a conference room for the generals, Commanders, and agents of the planets.

The Commander walked in, and sure enough, there was a conference going on. I froze completely still looking at how many different alien species there were around the room.

There were also humans of course, but there were so many aliens! One that caught my eye was a beautiful creature, tall, fair skin, and a crown of pearls lying on top of his head.

"I apologize for interrupting your meeting, General. I wanted to introduce these two people. May I present Valer---"

"Valerian and (Y/N). I've been waiting to meet you two." The beautiful jeweled-creature for out of his seat holding his staff.

Valerian raised his eyebrows watching the creature come in our direction. I just stood there marveling its beauty. What an exquisite species.

"You...know us?", is all that came out of my mouth. I was still stunned on how he did. As it came our way, he smiled very small and just stood there in complete and uninterrupted silence.

I'm pretty sure everyone in the room felt awkward about it, even the Commander. I stole a quick glance at Valerian and everyone else in the room.

Finally, the jewel-covered alien spoke, "I placed a camera on your ship. The past owner and so-called 'famous' gambler was an old spy of mine. He tried to win money for what we needed but unfortunately, he wins money for himself."

My eyes widened big as I thought about the alien watching and hearing our every move. It was quite embarrassing just talking to him.

Valerian decided to speak for himself, "So you've seen everything that we've done?" All the creature did in response was cringe and slightly nod his head.

I cringed as well as both Valerian's face turned to a slight red, same as mine. It felt so awkward and embarrassing to stand in front of a 'stalker'.

"I apologize for the humility right now, but I need you to do something important for me and my kin." That didn't sound so good.
