After a moment, she spoke. "Do you miss her?" Her voice scarcely a whisper.
In three words, he broke her heart. "All the time."
"You ignored her and your feelings for her for years! And now you're ready to admit it. Now! Now that we've lost her. I mean you could have told her not me. God, you're such an idiot."
"I was scared! Who wouldn't be? But I admit my timing was a bit off" He said timidly.
"A bit? A BIT! Are you kidding? I'm so done with you. You couldn't man up and save my sisters life, so why should I waste my time with you."
And those were the last words she spoke to him, as she stormed off and no one heard from him again.
