Them: Bow down little girl.

Me: That's funny

Them: I'm serious bow down to your superiors.

Me: Superiors huh. Where would you be without a girl

Them: That's all we need you for

Me: One day, you'll see, we are going to be equals

Them: No we're not

Me: How do you know? Is there a recent development that men can see the future? Cause your "superpower" is wrong.

Them: We are not going to be equal because you don't watch your tongue and I'm gonna kill you before you get to be an equal

Me: How do you know that you can kill me? I'm no little girl like you think.

That's when the first blow came. He hit me real hard. So I tried to hit back.

His hand collided my wrist and he grabbed it and twisted. I cried out in pain.

I fell to the ground. He continued to punch me. Until I fell unconscious.

I woke up in a hospital, with a bunch of reporters surrounding me.

I was bombarded with a bunch of are-you-alrights and what-happeneds. But the one I decided to answer was "would you like to make a statement?"

Me: I was attacked in the street today, by a man who believed that I should kneel before him. I will not stand for this. Women of the world I know you are scared, but we need to fight back. We cannot allow these barbaric men who believe they are superior win. Because we will be little girls no more!

But I knew it didn't make a very big difference because me standing up there with all my bruises and cuts and broken bones would not make anyone feel more confident but the men I was trying so desperately to fight against. So much for a powerful image.
