Chapter Four - Something new

3rd's POV

''Get. Up!'' A rough voice said in pauses and sighed. ''What'cha want?'' Lunar Knight responded and groaned as he sat up. ''You have to go'' Dash Knight said and helped him up. ''Go where?'' The knight asked confused and saw Ultimate was already gone. ''Well, long time ago, remember that black figure you saw here?'' Dash Knight asked, ''Yes I do, don't tell me we gotta find it''. ''Oh, you actually do'' Dash said and smirked, Lunar Knight groaned and nodded. ''Right now'' Dash responded and Lunar Knight groaned.

''And who am I going with?'' Lunar Knight asked and gave a questioning look to the god. ''Silver Knight and Lunara'' Dash Knight smirked and Lunar Knight dropped his hands, ''Are you kidding me?''. ''No, now move it'' He responded and flew away. Lunar Knight followed close behind before they got to the Desert City. Lunar Knight saw annoyed Silver Knight and teasingly posed Lunara.

''Hello boy, how's your neck?'' She teased and rounded him. ''Lunara, leave him be'' Ultimate said and stepped between the two. ''Fine, now which direction?'' She asked and Dash Knight groaned. ''Far side of Knight Planet, 0 N ° 9 L ° -5 S °-2 N*'' He gave them the wanted coordinates and Lunara nodded. All three of them teleported to the wanted coordinates and opened the communication with Dash Knight.

''We are there, where now?'' Lunara asked and posed nervously. ''Lunara, there is a problem, you-are-bei-....'' The connection was broken. ''What is wrong Lunara?'' Silver Knight asked and turned his face to the direction where he heard leaves shuffling. ''He said there is a problem, something like, you are being, then it broke down'' She spoke and turned where Silver Knight was looking. ''Maybe chased?'' Lunar Knight suggested and Lunara nodded in agreement.  ''Where are the sensors?'' She asked and Lunar gave them to her. ''He is right, we are not alone'' She said and all of the sudden the branches started cracking strongly.

''RUN!'' She yelled as they all obeyed the command. ''Where to?'' Lunar Knight asked through a run, ''We are supposed to find that creature because it stole...Knight Planet's core power'' Lunara spoke and ran quickly. ''What?! Why didn't he tell us before?'' Silver Knight and Lunar spoke in unison, ''Because he was aware that you would act like this''.

''Now jump aside'' She ordered and they did so. They hid in the big fern plant and heard loud breathing. Lunar Knight raised his head slightly and saw a big, well, giant monster. It wasn't head turned to him, but he could see the black hair glued to each other by some kind of blood, four legged with big claws and a lot of slobbery. The creature turned to his side and he could see the yellow eyes, meter long pinned ears and long ugly nose with big fangs. He lowered his head and then saw something, a burnt spot on the creature.

''So, you touched something burnable'' Lunar whispered and smirked slightly. The creature raised his head and ran away. Lunara dusted herself off and stood up, ''Everyone okay?''. ''Yes'' They responded in unison and stood on the road.

''What did you see?'' Lunara asked, looking at Lunar Knight. ''It has something burnt, if it touched the core's power it would happen'' He spoke and paced around nervously. ''Follow it'' Lunara ordered and they all started to follow the tracks of the beast.

They walked for long time and then got to the end of the jungle. It was all desert. Silver Knight stood thunderstruck and looked at the desert. ''How are we gonna find it here?'' Lunar Knight asked hopelessly. ''Sensors'' Lunara responded simply and Silver Knight nodded as hey started to walk. The sand was hot and the warm wind was blowing.

''Do we have any drinks with us?'' Silver Knight asked and Lunara shook her head. ''As my sensors say, oasis is not far, you might drink some water there'' She spoke and looked at her sensors. ''I hope it's that way'' Lunar Knight said and chuckled slightly.

After the long walk they've got to the oasis. ''Oasis!'' Silver Knight screeched and ran to the water. Lunar Knight kneeled next to the lake and looked at it. ''Lunara, what about the signs of the beast?'' Lunar asked and looked at the femme. ''Uh, the sensors are jammed, I can't see anything'' She spoke and hit the sensors few time. ''Restart?'' Silver Knight suggested and she shook her head, ''Tried, it won't work''.

The night was coming slowly. ''Stay here tonight, I will contact Dash Knight tomorrow and he will tell me what to do'' Lunara announced and the two nodded, laying on the sand. Lunar Knight lied under the palm tree and turned to side. He lied down for some time and god bored soon enough. He looked around and realized everyone was asleep but him. He groaned, annoyed and started to spin, finding a comfortable pose to rest. He suddenly screamed in pain as something stung him. He looked at his forearm and saw a scorpion attached to him. He took a knife and killed the scorpion. He groaned as he pulled it's stinger out. ''Damn it'' He grunted as the blood dripped slowly. He grabbed a handful of sand and put it over his wound. The sand was cold and calming, also relaxing. He sighed deeply and groaned as he pressed the sting place. He stayed quiet so he wouldn't wake anyone else.

Minutes passed which seemed to Lunar Knight as hours of intense boringness. He carefully stood up and walked to the lake slowly. He looked at the jungle they came from and raised his gaze to the clear sky. It was cold, usual for every desert in night. He looked at the sky once again and saw nothing, nothing alike moon. He smiled and walked to the lake. He kneeled next to it and then noticed something wasn't okay. He looked at the water and it was moving. He tilted his head to side and watched the water ripples form. As the water calmed down he saw a reflection of something...
