Chapter 22 - Feelings

3 days passed since the accident that happened, Dash Knight was now alright, he still needed to rest and go to checks in the medical quarters which was a nightmare to him.

He was currently in his room, checking some files about his medical tests. ''Scrap'' He muttered and looked at one of the files. He took a pen and signed his name. He groaned annoyed and threw the files through the air mail in his room. His attention was caught by the picture of Pandora, once again. He smiled weakly and thought what happened after her death.

~Flashback~

Dash Knight looked as the field battle was finishing. He was on his knees, looking at the place where she died. He stood up with all his strength and looked at his bleeding hands. He collected his energy and flew away. He suddenly shook in the air and teleported somewhere where he didn't want to go. It was The Sacred Realm. He was welcomed by a taxing world. A lightning struck nearby and then again and again. The sky roared as an eternal thunder storm dominated the realm. Dash Knight frowned and raised his dim eyes to the sky. He walked forward. Every rain drop splashed against the dirt that was now mud. The lightning struck nearby again and he shrank away.

He suddenly saw a dark palace. It had yellow lights inside as he could see. He walked to it slowly and avoided some stones that rolled by him. He walked on the low stairs that led to the porch of the palace, it was dark blue palace. Dash Knight looked at the entrance sadly and walked inside. As he entered the door behind him closed. He suddenly saw  something that left him frozen on place. He swallowed and made a slow move. He saw Pandora's body, she was laying on the floor motionless, yes, she was dead.

Dash Knight reached her body and looked down at her. He knee-led next to her and placed her back on his knee. He smiled sadly at her and traced her face with his finger. ''I am so sorry Pandora'' He started in shaky tone, ''I am sorry I couldn't protect you''. ''Thank you for saving my life'' He finished and left a kiss on her lips. He carefully placed her on the ground and stood up, walking away. He didn't turn back, he only walked away.

~End~

Dash Knight frowned as he realized how long he has been staring at the picture. His eyes turned dim as he looked around him. ''I am so sorry Pandora, forgive me'' He spoke sadly and quietly, lowering his head. He stood up and look at the place for the air mail. He walked to it and grabbed an envelope. He opened it and took a folded paper. He sighed as he read it and then threw it in a trash bin. He walked out of his room and paced through the hallways until he reached the exit door.

Few minutes later he was in the Silver City. He walked a bit more until he reached the medical quarters, he walked inside and closed the door behind him. He suddenly got hit by someone. ''Watch it, god'' A Knight said in angry tone and moved away. Dash Knight lowered his head sadly and walked to one of the rooms. He was welcomed by the nurse. ''Come on, lay down'' She ordered calmly and he obeyed without a word, laying on one of the medical beds. The nurse came to him and gave him an injection in his neck. He sighed and looked at the nurse.

She walked to him and pressed his flank, he groaned in pain and she looked at him. ''Slightly'' He muttered and she chuckled. ''I know you Dash Knight'' She said and pressed it once again, he whimpered and she smiled, putting some liquid on. ''Thanks'' He said and stood up. ''Anytime sir'' The nurse said and he smiled sadly, walking out of the room. He walked through the hallway and saw Astro Knight. ''Hello Astro Knight'' He greeted him, but the young god payed no attention and continued walking. Dash Knight lowered his head sadly and walked out of the medical quarters. He flew away.

After some time he was in the Desert City. He walked to Love Knight's bar. The Knight was working with some else customers. ''Dash Knight, leave, I have so much customers now for something important, come later'' Love Knight said harshly, chasing the god off. Dash Knight frowned and threw him a sad glance before walking away.

Few minutes of walking, he reached the Great River. He harshly sat on the ground with his legs in the water. He lied down and listened to the river's flow. After some time he stood up, water dripping off his legs.

He walked back to the Desert City and entered the dungeons. He walked inside and looked at Extreme Knight, he gave the god an annoyed glance before looking away. Dash Knight frowned and walked out of the dungeons, he heard some half laughter after him.

As soon as he got out he saw Ultimate Knight, the god looked unhappy with sharp look. He slammed Dash Knight's face and let him fall to his knees. ''What are you doing?! I sent you an air message and you still haven't replied on it!'' Ultimate Knight yelled angrily and walked away, shaking his head and muttering something. Ultimate Knight was very strong, especially when angry. Dash Knight traced his finger across his lip, picking some waterish green liquid. He coughed some green blood on his hand and frowned, standing up.

He was his own brother, why would he do that to him?

He started slowly to understand how Extreme Knight felt and felt a bit of guilty.

He quickly shook it off and walked away slowly, to the clean part of the river. He took a some water and washed his lip. He placed his wet hand on his face to cool it down. He frowned and stood up, walking in the river. He lied down fully and then transformed in his lion form, he didn't use it for long time. He roared loudly and shook his head in the water, washing his lush mane.

He growled slightly and walked off.
