Don't Apologize

Chapter 12 - Flashbacks

Extreme Knight was peacefully resting in his cell, he opened his eyes as he heard the dungeon doors open. He groaned and stood up. He leaned on the wall and then saw Silver Knight, for his surprise. ''What the heck are you doing here?'' Extreme asked and frowned. ''Came to visit ya bro'' Silver Knight said in childish tone.  ''I don't need anything from you, especially not a visit'' Extreme said, he suddenly remembered what Silver Knight once said on a party.

''Your girlfriend left you''

Extreme Knight frowned and them remembered everything before Eyloh.

~Flashback~

Extreme Knight and Syra were very close to each other. They'd do everything together, were always there for each other. But there were also things Extreme Knight kept secret from her, and she wanted to know. She would beg him to tell her whilst he would refuse every-time.

''I love you'' She spoke near the waterfall they both loved to visit. He smiled and then pulled her in a passionate kiss. He held her waist and then pulled away.

''Extreme Knight!'' The young knight heard the rough voice call. ''I have to go, see you later'' He said and gave her a quick kiss before leaving.

They would come and visit the waterfall every day and express their feelings towards each other.

One day Syra insisted on knowing the secret. She was going to complain to someone who could know, in this case, it was Lunara. ''So, what does the little girl want?'' The femme said nervously and bit her nail. ''I am sorry for disturbing you, but I want to know what is keeping from me, could you please help me?'' She asked and tried to be kind, even though she knew Lunara wouldn't approve.

''Oh yeah, now you're asking for MY help, darling, help yourself'' Lunara fake smiled and walked back to her apartment. Syra sighed and knew that Extreme Knight was expecting her on the waterfall, he said he had to give her something.

She flew away and in minutes found herself  around the waterfall, but she saw Extreme Knight nowhere. She suddenly got hit by a rock with a size of a coconut. ''Oww!'' She winced and rubbed the hit spot. She turned around and saw Extreme Knight. He laughed slightly and then smiled, hiding something behind his back. ''What are you hiding?'' Syra questioned playfully. ''Wanna see?'' He joked and walked around her. She chuckled and followed his moves.

''Yes'' She said and looked at him. He smiled and extended his hand. He was holding a necklace. It had small seashells strung on the chain and a seashell flower as the biggest decoration. It was glistering and had amazing colors. On the chain, between every seashell was a small pearl. ''Oh my god, that is amazing'' Syra squealed and looked at the necklace.

''It's for you'' Extreme said and then placed it around her neck. It matched her color very nicely. ''Thanks so much'' She said and kissed him. He kissed her back and pulled away. Syra still needed to know what he kept secret. ''Extreme Knight, promise you will never leave me'' Syra said in serious tone. ''I promise'' He whispered and pecked her cheek. She hugged him tightly and slowly rubbed his back up and down.

''Oh my GOD! DID YOU HEAR ANYTHING I SAID?!'' Silver Knight yelled and jolted Extreme Knight from his flashback. ''To be honest, I didn't bother listening'' He spoke and lowered his head slightly. ''Whatever'' Silver Knight muttered and walked out of the dungeons. Extreme Knight sat on the floor and blinked slowly. After all that he has done with her, it had to end up that way.

He remembered everything, before it was all lost. Why did she leave him? Did Silver Knight lie to him? Did she...die? Gone missing? He didn't know what feeling to trust. He hugged his knee and let his other leg extended.

~Flashback~

It was the bad day for both of them. ''Extreme Knight I want to know what are you keeping!'' Syra yelled, ''We've been together for so long and you didn't tell me?!''. ''Syra please-'' Extreme Knight started and was cut off. ''No pleas! I NEED TO KNOW!" She yelled angrily. ''I can't tell you, it is nothing important' you should worry about'' Extreme Knight responded and inhaled sharply. ''Please Extreme Knight!'' She begged and he shook his head, annoyed by the same question over and over. ''I cant'' He replied simply and sighed. Syra frowned and walked to him. He looked carefully at her, before he could react she smacked his face. He groaned and fell to his knees. It was a surprise, he always doubted she would do that.

He placed his fingers on his cheek and it left traces of blood. He looked at her hand and saw she had his blood on her nails. ''Extreme, I-I didn't-'' Syra started slowly and he stood up. He just shot her a glance and flew away. Few sky blue tears rolled down her cheeks as she looked at the blood on her nails.

She walked to the big waterfall and sighed, washing the blood off.

         ***

Since that day everything has gone badder. They were less together, more arguing and fighting. One day something happened that none of them would ever think of, not even Syra could always control herself.

''Can you please leave me alone for some time, Syra?'' It all started calmly. ''What is your problem?! You've been locked in your room for a week, didn't bother greeting me or doing anything with me!'' Syra yelled angrily and looked at him. ''Please don't Syra, I just need to be alone for a while'' He spoke calmly. ''Why?!'' She yelled in angry tone. ''Please, just leave'' He pleaded, not wanting anything bad to happen.

Syra turned around to the door angrily and walked to them. ''You know what?! I don't want to be with you anymore!'' She yelled the words she didn't even expect herself. Extreme Knight inhaled sharply in shock and stepped back. Syra's eyes widen and she ran out of his room.

He never thought of this. He didn't know did she mean it, where did she go? He had to find her.
