Chapter 19 - Lost And Found

Lunar Knight hummed slightly as he looked at all cleaned up books. He looked out of the library and realized it is dark, bad for him. He saw two piles of books waiting on the table to be cleaned. ''Come on, the last ones'' He groaned and walked to them. He took a cloth and started cleaning them slowly. He heard clanging outside the building and immediately turned around. ''Anyone?'' He shouted, not too loud. He shrugged and continued working before he heard the sound again. He frowned and left the cloth. ''If you are The Twins better stop screwing around the library or I will kick your asses!'' Lunar Knight yelled in anger and frowned, walking outside. He looked around and saw few crushed stones. ''What?! I just lifted that 100 ton rocks this morning!'' He exclaimed in annoyance and groaned. No good work today,  the Knight thought and lifted the heavy stone. He placed it to the building and lifted another one. Few minutes passed and he was done with lifting the stones. He suddenly heard a vibrating sound. He turned around quickly and then jumped back at the sight of an unknown animal. It just stood watching him.

It was the size to his hips, it had big pointy ears on the side of it's head and few hairs on top of them. The eyes of the animal were big and round with marine blue color. The body had delicate scales and two tails that had a leaf-like decoration on the end. It had four strong legs with strong claws. The head was pudgy and the beast was dark brown colored, it was so dark nearly reaching the black color. It's mouth opened, revealing two sharp fangs and the other teeth were smaller and less shaped of a carnivore. ''What. Are. You?'' Lunar Knight asked in surprise and stepped back carefully. The beast made vibrating sounds which made the Knight cover his ears. ''Okay, okay, the talking is over'' He spoke and the beast's tails swung around. The beast walked to Lunar Knight in high steps and started sniffing him. It got on two legs and flopped it's tongue out. It tilted it's head to side and looked at the Knight's eyes. ''Don't look at me like that, leave'' Lunar Knight spoke coldly and the animal made sad sounds. It got back on all four legs and started walking away with it's tail dragging and head low.

''Wait a second, you understood me?'' Lunar Knight asked in surprise and the beast's body lit up. The tail swung around and it's head nodded. ''But I can't understand you'' Lunar Knight spoke and kneeled to the ground. The beast walked to him and cuddled to his arm. What the... Lunar Knight thought and looked at the animal, he didn't know what to do with it. He opened the com-link and searched to Dash Knight. ::Dash Knight?:: Lunar Knight spoke and periodically threw his look at the beast. ::Yes, what do you need?:: The god's calm voice was heard. ::I would like you to come to the library, with Hyper Knight if possible:: Lunar Knight spoke and Dash Knight's groan was heard from the other side. ::Yes, coming:: Dash Knight spoke and then closed the com-link. Lunar Knight looked at the clear dark sky, for his good there was no moon. He looked down at the beats that was calmly laying in his lap. He smiled softly and then looked around, impatiently waiting for the god. Few minutes later the wanted persons were there. ''Whoa Lunar, what is that?'' Hyper Knight exclaimed and looked at the  beast. It flopped it's tongue out and swung it's tail.

''Well, he was making some mess around the library, I am not sure what is it'' Lunar Knight spoke and the beast looked between the three of them. It made the vibrating sounds again, this time they were quieter. At that sound, Hyper Knight's sensor beeped loudly. He looked at it and tapped few things on the mini screen. He found the translator. ''It said 'my name is Tyhlos''' Hyper Knight spoke and pointed the sensor to the beast. It shrank away form the device and hid behind Lunar Knight. ''As much as I can check, he is the baby of his specie, Elayhwae, they are from the planet called Freefall'' Hyper Knight spoked and kept his eyes on the sensor. ''What is he doing here then?'' Lunar Knight asked and looked at the communication officer. ''He is lost'' Hyper Knight responded and Lunar Knight nodded slowly. ''Try to find his parents'' Dash Knight said calmly and flew away. The beast raised on it's two legs and looked at the two of them. It made the vibrating sound again, it talked. ''What did he say?'' Lunar Knight asked, expecting the answer from Hyper.

''He said that he will thank us so much if we find his parents'' Hyper Knight said with a slight smile. Lunar Knight looked at the beast and nodded slowly. ''No worry little thing, we will find them'' He spoke and the beast started to run around and swing its tail. Hyper Knight jumped his tail's wave and inhaled sharply. ''He's a happy one'' He said and chuckled at him. Hyper Knight smiled once more before flying away. The beast whined and raised his one leg at the place where the Knight left. ''He is gone'' Lunar Knight muttered and a tint of relief was in him.

It was very dark outside, the fire torches hanged on the buildings were the only source of the light and warmth. Lunar Knight has left the beast in the library for it not to freeze, until he was gone to the communication building. There was a big crash in front of the library, nobody was there.

Meanwhile, at the communication building

''Whoa, something big in the Desert City, let's go check it out'' Hyper Knight said and flew away with Dash Knight and Lunar Knight following. As they landed in the Desert City they looked at it in shock. ''Holy...'' Hyper Knight trailed off as he looked at the beast that was in front of the library, sniffing around. It was same as Tyhlos, except it had one tail and a horn between it's ears. It suddenly raised it's head and turned around to the three. They all stepped back with Dash Knight forward. It made the loud vibrating sounds and then roared. ''What did it say?!'' Lunar Knight shouted as he looked at Hyper Knight. ''Wait!'' The Knight responded in hurried tone and tapped the sensor. Before he could do anything the beast was running to them, it was size of the god, few inches taller. ''Oh no...'' Dash Knight muttered and the angry beast swung it's leg his way. It hit him hard and he was air-born very soon. He fell on the roof of the low square building. He rolled on the roof few times and then yelled in pain as he felt something pierce his metal. He breathed heavily and looked at two other Knights. ''Lunar Knight, free Tyhlos!'' Hyper Knight shouted and Lunar nodded, running to the library. He opened the library and stared in shock. It was all ruckus out of books and fallen shelves. ''Damn it'' He muttered and looked around. He suddenly saw the baby beast. It hopped through the books and jumped over the Knight. It quickly walked to the big beast and snuggled to it.

Minutes later the beast was about to leave. It spoke through it's way and walked off slowly. ''It said 'Thanks and sorry''' Hyper Knight chuckled and the beast flew away with the baby on it's back. ''That went well'' Lunar Knight spoke and Hyper Knight nodded slowly and then looked at Dash Knight. ''Don't'' Dash Knight warned. ''I am fine''. Hyper Knight shook his head and flew away along with Lunar Knight.
