Chapter Five - Not so well

3rd's POV

Lunar Knight quickly turned around and then got slammed hardly. He groaned in pain as he flew to the lake. The water splashed around him and the beast roared. It was three sizes of him and had pretty large teeth and claws. It jumped in the water and grabbed Lunar Knight tightly as it threw him around like he was a toy. He managed to stand up and then collapsed to the ground again as the monster hit him. All the team woke up and stood still as they saw the monster. ''Lunara, look out!'' Lunar Knight warned as the monster hit the femme, making her fly over to the lake. Silver Knight screamed in high pitch and climbed up the tree where he was safe. Lunara groaned and stood up as she jumped on the monster's back. It roared and bucked around, but that couldn't take her off. She grabbed a rope that was hanging from her hips and threw it in the beast's mouth. It was standing on it's hind legs and then it turned over in the lake.

Lunara held her breath and got away from the monster. She got on the surface and crawled to Lunar Knight. He stood up and helped her too. The monster jumped out of the water and roared angrily. ''What now?'' Lunar Knight asked and looked at the femme. ''Uhh, I am not sure'' She responded and took the sensors. ''This is desert warg, we invaded it's territory'' She spoke and dodged the beast's attack. ''We are lucky'' She mouthed and Lunar Knight threw her a glance, ''What's lucky in this?''. ''It could've been much times bigger'' She explained shortly and jumped on the monsters head. ''We can't kill it, we gotta run'' She said and Silver Knight fell from the tree. They all started to run away while the beast was distracted.

Lunara ran quickly and then dropped the communication device. ''Oh damn'' Lunar Knight spoke as Lunara turned to pick it. The beast was getting closer. ''Lunara run!'' Silver Knight squealed and Lunar Knight pulled her away. They all ran away while the beast played with the communication device.

After they all run away they were in a middle of desert, night time. ''Lunar Knight you idiot!'' Lunara yelled. Lunar Knight felt offended and lowered his head. Lunara felt guilty and put her hand over his shoulder. ''Sorry'' She apologized and he nodded. ''Now we cant communicate with Dash Knight, we gotta find that'' She said and others nodded.

The three of them walked slowly as the sun was rising. It was starting to get very hot. Lunar Knight groaned in pain slightly and Lunara looked at him. ''I am fine'' He said, knowing her question. ''No you are not, sit down'' She ordered and he groaned and sat down. ''You got stung by a scorpion'' She spoke and looked at his forearm. ''It's nothing'' He said and looked at the sand. ''It is poisonous Lunar Knight'' She frowned and took a piece of leather. She wrapped it tightly around his forearm and he winced a little.

''You will be okay'' She said and planted a kiss on his lips. The two had been in some kind of relationship for longer time, always helpful for each other. Lunar Knight stood up and looked at  his arm. Silver Knight mumbled stuff under his breath and made Lunar Knight annoyed. ''Will you ever shut up, we are being chased by a beast and you are talking about your precious home and everything!'' He yelled angrily and Silver Knight ignored him. ''Leave him Lunar Knight'' Lunara noted and continued walking.

The sun fully rose to the sky, sending rays in the to the sandy surface. ''What are we gonna do about Dash Knight?'' Lunar Knight asked and walked slowly. ''Nothing, we will have to return sooner or later, or somehow make him send the teleport'' Lunara said as she thought of all the way across the desert. ''It will be a long journey till the end'' She said and Lunar Knight nodded.

''So, where are we gonna get water?'' Lunar Knight asked and Lunara sighed, looking for a right answer. ''The sensors say there is forest few miles away from here'' She spoke, ''Lets follow it''.

The three started to follow the directions that led to the forest.

An hour after they found a lush forest. It had big and dense trees with many bushes and fresh, wet grass. Lunar Knight sighed and sat on the cold grass. ''Here we will rest until the night, when it's cold we can move'' Lunara said and Lunar Knight nodded. ''We all need a rest now'' Lunar Knight said and closed his eyes slowly.

Silver Knight walked away and found a pile of worms. He was disgusted and walked away. He found a big tree and a hole in it. He stuck his hand inside the hole and found some water. He took a leaf and picked few drops out and drank them. ''Yoohoo, I found water!'' He yelled and got no respond. He frowned and drank more water as he walked away to another tree that had a hole, this time higher. ''Hello?'' He called hoping to get a respond. ''Hello'' A voice responded. It sounded pretty old and tired. ''Who are you?'' Silver Knight asked and looked around.

''I am an owl'' The voice responded and then a giant owl flew over him. Silver Knight screamed in fear and fell to the ground. ''I wont kill you, knight'' The owl spoke and landed near Silver Knight. ''I don't trust that'' Silver Knight screeched and crawled away from the creature. ''Are you alone?'' The owl asked and walked around. ''No, there are two more nearby'' He spoke and then looked at the owl. It was a bit suspicious to him, but he didn't care. ''Oh, why are you here?'' The owl asked and Silver Knight thought does he tell it the truth. ''We are looking for something, an power source, nothing much'' He responded. The owl's eyes flickered red as it flew away.
