CHAPTER SIXTEEN

MALORIE'S POV

The next morning I wake up with a yawn. I stretch my arms out, but then I feel my arm hit something.

“Oomph.” Someone grumbles. I turn. Niall!

“Babe.” I whisper in his ear.

“Yes?” He says groggily.

“It's time to wake up.”

“Five more minutes Mal?” He begs.

I giggle. “Alright. I'm going to go take a shower.” I say, kissing him on the forehead.

Wait! Stop right there with your perverted minds! We did not do 'that'. He brought me home last night and ended up staying when my family dissapeared again.

I picked out a pair of denim shorts, a navy blue lace v-neck, and black Converse. Then I head off to the bathroom. I shave my legs, wash my hair, and get out.

My head hurts a little still, but I clench my teeth and bear through it. I don't want Niall worrying about it anymore.

I pull on my clothes and put on my normal makeup as well as some light brown eyeshadow. It flows nicely, I think.

Then I quietly blow dry my hair. After that I straighten my layers and add mousse to make it look like I have wavier hair.

I silently pat myself on the back. Job well done, Mal.

When I check the clock, it's been about thirty minutes or so. I walk back in to my room to find Niall still asleep.

Oh, this is perfect. I creep up ninja style and then hop on the bed. “ROAR!” I shout.

“What! Mal? OH MY GOD IT'S A NINJA ATTACK!” He yells, half asleep. He jumps up and grabs for the spot I was laying in.

Aww, how sweet.

I roll on the ground laughing.

“Oh, you think it's funny?” Niall says.

He grins evilly and creeps toward me.

“No!” I shout as he starts tickling me. I start to try and wiggle out of his grasp, but his strong arms keep me down.

“That'll teach you.” He says, stopping.

I grin and then give him a peck on the lips.

“Yeah, I learned a lot.” I say sarcastically.

“Psh, course ya did love.” He said.

I rolled oiut from under him. “Now go get dressed.” I said. He nodded and went over to the backpack he brought when he took me home from the hospital. He pulled off his shirt.

“Niall!” I said, covering me eyes playfully. I giggled.

“What? You don't like my amazing abs?” He teased.

I uncovered my eyes. “No.” I started. His face fell. “I love your abs.”

“You scared me for a minute.” He said, winking as he pulled on a white v-neck. Then he topped it off with a blue plaid button up.

I left to go get breakfast. “I'm going downstairs, 'kay babe?” I said.

“Yeah, I'll see you in a minute.” He said.
