Hey guys! So, I'm thinking this upload also took a little longer than usual. If so, sorry. I am already working on the next chapter. I will rant at the end(;

CHAPTER NINETEEN

TWO WEEKS LATER

“Mal, are you ready?” Harry asked, walking in to my room.

I nodded, a tear streaming down my face. “I just, I can't believe I'm leaving.” I said, choking back sobs.

He sat next to me and pulled me close. I nuzzled my face to his chest and let the tears fall. “Ssh, Mal, It'll be alright, we're all going to take care of you.” He soothed.

I pulled away. “I know, and I'm so happy for that, but I'm leaving my family and my best friends.” I said.

“I know. But you can always visit, right?” He asked.

“I don't know. I'm going to try.” I said.

“I'm sure you'll make the best of it. Well, I'm going to go wait in the car. Come out when you're ready, okay love?”

“Yeah. Thanks Haz.” I said.

He nodded and left the room. I scrutinized every corner of the now lifeless room. All of my things were gone, shipped off to my home in London.

My bed, dresser and desk sat blandly in their spots. I remembered coming in here to gossip with Taylor about the latest with Aaron and his gang of jocks. I remembered the crying fests she and I would have that resulted in buckets of Ben and Jerry's being consumed. I remembered when Ryan would come charging in on occasional mornings, throwing me over his shoulder and carrying me to the car so we wouldn't be late.

But that's all over now. No more High School life for me. No more seeing Taylor and Ryan everyday. I'm moving halfway across the world.

I hastily wiped away the tears rolling down my cheeks. I smoothed out my shirt and jeans and made sure my heels weren't irritating my feet.

With that, I walked to the doorframe, switched off the light, and closed the door for the final time. I slumped against the doorframe, a sob escaping my throat. I composed myself quickly.

“Hey angel. Come here.” Joel said when I walked downstairs.

I walked in to his arms and let him hold me tight. “I love you so much.” I said.

“I love you too. Now come on, we have to get going.” He said, ushering me out to the car with an arm around my waist.

I slipped in to the black SUV and smiled meekly at the boys. We were on our way to the airport where everyone was waiting.

“Hey, Mal, it's going to be okay. New adventures, right?” Lou said. I knew he was uncomfortable with these kind of situations.

“Adventurous Adventures.” I said, referring to the hilarious YouTube fanfiction.

The boys had a laugh and I smiled.

“My hair isn't that high, is it?” Zayn said in mock worry.

“It's like a ski jump.” Niall said, quoting his character.

I laughed hysterically, finally letting it all go. Everyone joined in, and for a moment I forgot the pain of leaving my life here in Colorado.

For the rest of the car ride the boys and Joel managed to keep me entertained and happy.

Then, we pulled up to the airport.

“Hey, babe, don't worry okay? You have time to say goodbye.” Zayn whispered in my ear as we got out of the car.
