CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

HARRY'S POV

She's changed so much in the last eight months. Her hair has gotten a little longer, her smile just a little wider. Her whole attitude about life seems to have been slightly altered. She seems just a little more, well, in love.

And that's because of Joel. But its definitely an improvement from eight months ago, when her heart was broken and she was distraught. The one thing I didn't want to happen had.

Niall had broken her heart. No matter how many times he had tried to explain to us why he'd done it, we were all still shocked. He claims he did it out of love, but doesn't he realize it only hurt her more?

Niall's heart is still broken, he still thinks about her. He's had a few one night stand's, but he can't move on. I wish he would.

It's only now that I realize I might never get a chance with Mal. And that's because she's happy. She went through pain with Niall and now she's found Joel. It would just be wrong to tell her my feelings now.

MALORIE'S POV

We all crowded in to the SUV. I sat on Joel's lap, Harry and Zayn on either side of us. Liam and Louis were on the other side, facing us, and Niall was in the front seat.

I talked animatedly with the boys about what their live's had been like. I really did miss seeing them everyday like before.

“So, Lou, I never did get to meet Eleanor.” I said.

“Don't worry, I'm sure you will.” He said.

“Oh, and you can meet Dani as well.” Liam added, smiling at the mention of her name.

“Yay! I'm so excited, I can't wait to leave.” I said wistfully.

“Really? I didn't think I was that bad.” Joel joked. I kissed him on the cheek.

“Aww, hun, you're staying with me until term remember? And then you're visiting on holiday's. I'll miss you a lot.” I cooed.

He chuckled. “I know Mal, I'll miss you too.” He said

“Good. Now, boys, where to?” I asked.

“Ooh, how about we go to Olive Garden?” Zayn said.

We all agreed and kept our talk up as we made our way there. When we pulled up, I left my robe, cap and diploma in the car.

“They make you seem brighter.” Joel whispered in my ear.

I squeezed his hand. “I know, they make me happy when I see them. They're family to me.” I said.

“I love you.” He said.

I grinned. “I love you too.” I said, kissing him.

Someone cleared their throat. Zayn. “Ready love-birds?” He asked.

I chuckled with Joel. “Yep.” I said.

We sat down and ordered. As we waited for our food, we talked about my plans for Oxford.

“Well, I'm flying soon. I already started packing, and I'm going to begin there in Fall.” I explained.

“Oh, that's just lovely. We'll be able to visit you!” Louis yelped.
