Shraddha's POV
Birdy stands and tears leave her eyes. "Of course I will honey!" She smiles and Ranbir slips the ring on her finger.
"Awww so cute yaar!" I say.
"Shraddha did you know about this?" Sidharth asks me.
"No yaar! If I did I would've spilt it out by now you know I'm such a big mouth!" I admit.
"lol well now I'm gonna get married! I never thought this day would come!!" Birdy squeals.
"Neither did I." I scoff.
"Oh Shraddhi!"
"But I'm thinking we can be engaged for a while instead of rushing into marriage." Ranbir says.
"Yeah I think that's what we should do!" Birdy says. "So we can plan my dream wedding! We need the best food in the world, manish malhotra designer lengha... is he related to you guys by any chance?"
"No." Sidharth says.
"Oh well Ranbi I want Manish Malhotra Lengha I want it I want it I want it!" Birdy demands.
"I'll get you anything I love you." Ranbir says hugging her.
"Aww how sweet!" Taapsee says. "Now we'll be related and be best ever friends!"
"Yay tap tap!" Birdy squeals. "Lets get Laa Doo for all of our friends because of our celebration!"
"Ladoo you duffer!" I say. "And okay fine we'll go and get a few boxes for Alia and Kriti."
"Yay! Bye!" Birdy says and we go outside into the car.
"Where shall we go? Sweet Mart? LadooMania?" I ask.
"No lets go Barfia!"
"Birdy that's a pretty expensive shop." I say.
"So? It's not like you and Siddhy don't work! And I've got Ranbis credit card so it's okay!"
"Ugh fine." I say and turn a corner.
We park up outside Barfia.
"Hi can we have 4 selection boxes?" I ask.
"Of course." The lady at the till says writing down. "What size?"
"Sm-"
"Big!"
"One second." I say.
I pull Birdy to the side.
"Umm hello I don't think Ranbir will appreciate you spending 100+ pounds on sweets."
"Umm he's not stingy like you! Waters thicker then blood!" Birdy says incorrectly.
"Its bloods thicker than water and okay whatever." I say.
"Okay so in each box can I have 3 ladoos, 2 gulab Jamuns, 6 Kaja katuri
And three of those pink things and four of those chocolate ones and umm Shraddhi anything else?"
"I think that'll be enough." I smile.
"Okay if you'd take a seat that will be about five minutes."
