Chapter 6

Shraddha's POV

Everyone soon leaves after paying their respect.

"Mum do we have to leave?" Taapsee asks Sidharth's Mum.

"We have to go for Nani after hearing the news she's fallen ill." Mum sniffs.

"Taapsee you can stay with us." Sidharth says.

"Mum can I?" I ask.

"Of course behta. If your Bhabi doesn't mind."

"Of course not. Taapsee is like my little sister. And it will be good for Birdy if she stays." I say.

"Okay well then I'll see you all in 2 weeks." Mum says.

"Here mum I'll come to drop you off." Sidharth says.

We go upstairs to. We see Birdy in Ranbir's room.

She's hugging his clothes chattering to herself.

"Oh Birdy." I say.

"What Shraddhii? I'm just remembering him." She says.

"Birdy this isn't the way to remember him. Remember him in your prayers not by sniffing his clothes."

She looks down on the floor and starts weeping.

She picks up a magazine from the floor that was titled: how to plan your dream wedding.

"Oh Shraddhi! He was planning our wedding!" She says sobbing.

"Look Taapsee's come to stay over for the next few weeks. If you don't mind she can sleep in your room just for tonight to help you feel better." I say.

"Shraddhi that would make me feel much better." She says sniffing.

"Okay well you guys rest I'll go check on the kids.'' I say.

The next day...

Alia's POV

"Why was Katrina Masi so mean to me?" Varia says weeping.

"I don't know why she acts like that. Maybe I was too harsh throwing her out." I say.

"No mum she's too mean I don't want to be near her." Varia says.

"Its okay mummy's here. I just wonder how your dad is going to react." I say.

Suddenly Kavya starts crying.

"You go watch TV it looks like Kavyas woken up." I say.

I go to Kavya and rock her and take her downstairs.

"Vali put Nick Jr on the TV let Kavya watch it in her bouncer." I say strapping her in.

"Okay Vari let's play on the iPad." She says.

I go to make them lunch. I make Nutella sandwich bites.

"Here you go girls." I say.

Kavya coos at the TV.

I start feeding her baby food.

I look anxiously at the clock. Varun should be home soon.

Shraddha's POV

I wake up the next morning and make breakfast for everyone. Suddenly I get a call from Pulky.

"Hello."

"Hi Shraddha. Could you tell Birdy to get ready and meet me at Cafe muffin for lunch."

"Umm..."

"Okay 1 o clock bye!" He cuts off.

I guess I have no choice but to tell her.

I wait until Birdy's come upstairs and finished her breakfast.
