003. THINGS YOU CAN'T OUTRUN

IF YOU WOULD HAVE TOLD BELLA ALMOST ONE YEAR AGO THAT SHE WOULD FIND HER FATHER AND GAIN ABILITIES ON THE WAY SHE WOULD OF TOLD YOU TO GET YOUR ASS TO A HOSPITAL.

But now, it was true.

After Barry told her that he was Bella's father they grew even closer. Bella still had to stay at S.T.A.R Labs since Iris still didn't know about Barry having a daughter.

Bella didn't mind it at all. She had her good times where she could help around the place and get to know the others well, and she also had her job at the new Mexican restaurant. It was a good way to be of use since she had always been homeschooled, and that way she earned money.

She was sitting in the middle of S.T.A.R Labs, reading a Harry Potter book, when the alarm went off. Bella jumped from her seat and land on the floor.

"My book!" She yells getting up and grabbing her book like it was her life.

"The alarm!" Yelled Cisco behind Bella running towards the computers and calling Barry. Grabbing her book and putting it down somewhere safe, Bella makes her way over to Cisco and sits down beside him.

"Code 237 on Waid Boulevard," Cisco says.

"Public indecency?" Bella heard Barry ask from the other end.

"Wait, I think I meant a 239." Corrected Cisco with a confused face looking back at the screen again.

"Dog leash violation?" Barry asked.

"Badman with a gun in a getaway car." Interrupted Caitlin yet again proving to the boys that they didn't need codes.

Giving a small wave to Bella, Caitlin hands her cup of coffee which the young girl takes with a smile in return. After a few seconds, they hear as Barry fights off the bad guys and ends the whole thing in less than a minute. With a good satisfaction smile Bella and Cisco high five knowing that yet another mission was completed.

Taking the chance that they had free time, Cisco and Bella were back again with the whole superhero name for Bella. Most of the names were stupid and useless only making them laugh and Caitlin to give them a look that read "I'm surrounded by idiots" which only made them laugh even more.

Later on, Cisco went back to his own stuff, and so Bella decided to spend time with Caitlin. Asking her questions about anything she could come up with. That is until their girl talk was interrupted by Barry who ran in the room with Joe by his side. He then started to explain something about a metahuman that could control gas.

"Fascinating, a meta-human that can manipulate poison gas," Wells said out loud.

"Is it just poisonous gas, or can he control all aerated substances?" Asked Cisco getting into his nerd mode.

"And how is he able to formulate the connection? Is it physiological or psychological?" Caitlin not too far behind asked.

"This individual can create a mental nexus using gaseous substances," Wells stated.

"You mean connect with gases on a molecular level?" Cisco asks with a smile that says he already knows the answer.

"Yes." Wells nods agreeing with Cisco.

"That is ridiculously cool," Cisco commented his inner fanboy coming out.

"They get really excited about this stuff," Barry explained to Joe who was standing beside him looking between the three scientists not knowing what they were talking about.

"The only thing I'm excited about is putting criminals behind bars," Joe told them.

"And I'm excited about going to bed." Bella added, "Plus isn't Iron Heights made for normal people?"
