IN A PLACE CALLED CENTRAL CITY EVERYTHING WAS IN MOTION AT NIGHT.
The wind that blew in the open space that sends hair into people's faces, and into their skin. Making them hold their jackets and sweaters closer to them trying to keep themselves warm. The lights and screens changed from different hues of colors as they shine bright vibrant colors in the dark, and to the people who left the warmth of their homes and towards their next stop.
Just like any other day in Central City, a little girl in between the crowd is riding on her black skateboard. Her brown waist hair flowing in the wind in her ponytail, green and brown eyes that shifted colors sometimes behind a pair of black-rimmed glasses.
Her smile complimented her face and her dimples showed as she came to a stop and opened the door to a familiar family restaurant she has known for years. A place she has gotten to call home, where she was currently working as a singer.
Opening the door the familiar jingle of the bell echoed through the loud place making a certain person look up from behind the bar and smile at the familiar Hispanic girl.
"Hey, Bella. Como estas?/How are you?" The familiar bartender, Matteo asked with a smile. A hint of an Italian accent in the adult guys voice with brown hair, tan skin, and brown eyes.
"I'm good. Y voy a estar aun mas mejor./ And I'm gonna be even better." The girl Bella, short for Isabella, said with a smile as she went over to the stage. Hanging her jacket in a hanger showing off her all-black outfit.
Tightening up her hair in its ponytail, Bella moves her hands to the necklace around her neck and slides her fingers along the edges of two silver rings hanging from it. For any normal person, they would just be decorations to the necklace, but to her, they were objects of happiness and a future she wanted to live for. A dream of what she hoped would be her future and a link between her and Matteo that no one could break.
"And now ladies and gentlemen for her third year we have Isabella De La Cruz." Announced the guy up in stage clapping along with everyone else in the place hearing the familiar name.
With confidence, Bella steps up the stage and takes the mic from the announcer having to close her eyes a bit for them to get adjusted to the light shining at her face.
"How you guys doing?" She asked into the mic, her voice echoing through the place from the mini speakers in the corner and in the stage corners. People in their tables started clapping and shouting good. As they grew quiet Bella continued, "Okay well as you know this is my third year performing for you guys."
"Happy three years!" She heard shouts from the bar where Matteo and his brother yelled smiling at her with pride.
Nodding with a smile she continues looking at the crowd, "Well today I will sing the very first song I played when I got here."
At this again everyone clapped and shouted having wonderful memories seeing the girl perform. Not missing a single day making people happy, and wanting to dance on their seats.
