Just the thought of someone changing me no matter the situation has me enraged.

But I then calm down.

They probably didn't want me to wake up stinking in blood and dirt stained clothes.

This has my temper slightly lower. I was always losing my temper easily but I had a good control over it.

Sounds from the living room draw me in that direction. I walk down the hall silently and peek into the guest room only to see it untouched.

The hallway breaks off into another which leads to the bathroom and laundry room but I keep going till I reach the living room.

It was spacious and had all the needed furniture and devices.

Some coming from my stripper money while others out of my own pocket.

It was faced to the side so whoever was in there was going to see me as soon as I walked in.

But there was no one.

A bang from the kitchen almost has me scream but instead I grab the gun in the cabinet next to me. Silently closing the drawer I stand in position and walk into the living room with caution.

A pair of vans were strewed on the floor and a leather jacket lauded across on of the couches. Taking the gun off safety I silently creep towards the kitchen after doing another sweep of the living room.

Pressing my back up against the wall right next to the doorway that leads to the kitchen. The Suite life of Zack and Cody could be heard in the background.

I turn and shoot whoever it was in to kitchen once I heard the refrigerator , which was right across then too the left of the door way close.

I see a man hiss then topple down onto the floor.

Walking closer to him with my gun still at the ready I look at his dark brown hair but that was it. Ge was facing the floor and unmoving.
It didn't really come to me that he could be dead until a huge red puddle starts forming right next to him.

Oh shit.

I bend down to check his pulse only to be tackled.

The gun flys from my hands and now I'm defenseless with a...
Hunk of meat right on top of me.
He had dark brown hair with light green and brown eyes. His chiseled jaw could probably cut through metal and I loved how the white T-shirt he was wearing seemed to cling to his broad chest.

But then of course I'm knocked out of this trance by the sound of his deep rough velvety voice.

"That was very rude of you"

I roll my eyes.

"Why the fuck are you in my apartment and how did you get in? Look if your here cause you thought you were special or something then you need to leave. Whatever feelings you seem to have developed best to hit the door. I can get you help-"

The man stops my surprising ramble with a glare.

He sits up slightly but still close enough to were I couldn't move.
"What in the hell are you talking about ? I'm not... What the fuck? I saved your ass from those boys. They got what they deserved by the way"
I don't miss the way a dark gleeful look takes over his face at the last sentence.

Oh great I'm dealing with a phsyco.
But he saved me from the niños so for that I am forever grateful.

"But how did you get in? How did you even know where I lived!?"
He looks at me calmly.

"Your bag had the keys inside and I just happened to come across those mint wrapper at the bottom with this hotel symbol.

I put two and two together came here the girl at the front desk gave me your roll number after a little chat and now bam. Here we are"

I internally cringe.

I had a slight obsession to the hotel chocolate mints and I always said I would stop but it wasn't happening any time soon.

"I stayed to make sure you were gonna be alright and don't worry. I was with a friend when I found you and she's the one that changed you. Much to my dismay" I watch as his eyes travel up and down my body.

The position of him on top of me finally comes to mind and I quickly shove him off with him distracted.
Though something tells me he could easily have stayed solid as a rock.

"Well you can leave now. I'm obviously fine. Bah bye"

He raises an eyebrow at me.

"Is this how you treat all the men that come into your life?"

I just walk towards the door and wait for him to follow I didn't have any more time to waste on him. Today was the day I had to go down and renew my lease plus start looking for another job.

"Fine fine. I'm leaving. But I'll be back. And I'll make you mines. Well, you're already mine. Don't forget that ".

I just roll my eyes at his audacity.
As soon as he's out the door I slam the door shut and lock it. Not caring that his mouth had opened as if he was about to speak.

First I'd quit my job but I'm most likely going to go back.

Charlie will call me probably and say that the place isn't the same without me or some cliche line like that.

Oh who am I kidding. Dolly, the girl that was number one before I came will make the most money now.
Urgh.

I turn on my alarm cursing myself for not doing it in the first place.

Now what do I do?

I had no job and a stalker.

Both easy fixes.

There were plenty of strip clubs out there and as long as I kept a tazer some pepper spray and moved my backup key I was fine.

I smile slightly.

I was back in business baby.

Wait a minute....

I walk hastily back to my kitchen and see the blood stain.

I shot him.

Oh my gawd I shot a man and let him loose

But he seemed perfectly fine.

How was that possible ?

Pushing these thought to the side I grab my mop and start cleaning.
Once that was done and I threw away my mop, grab my keys and a jacket and head towards the door.

But then I pause.

Pulling up my shirt I see that the bruise is no longer existent.

No wonder I didn't cry out in pain when that guy tackled me.

I knew my healing ways were faster than the average person but this was too fast.

Too many questions to answer.

Continuing on my way I make sure to put my alarm for away, lock my door, and take my backup key.

Rushing down the hallway I ignore the people I pass and only focus on the elevator doors right down the hall.
