Picture frames were broken and tables were tossed aside. Growls could still be heard in the distance.

Howling loudly to signal me being fine, near, and angry I take off towards the answering calls. Only to stop when I realize lucifer isn't following.

"Lucifer what are you doing just standing there come on."
He bares his teeth and I snarl.
Black mist starts flowing from me towards him and it isn't until he bows his head that it disappears.

"I'm sorry Aphrodite its just.. I almost lost you again today. How did I not know the waiter was a demon? They are usually so easy to spot."
I just smile slightly.

"It's alright lucifer. If you really want my forgiveness you will come with me to fight with our pack, for our pack"
He straightens up and backpedals a little before winking at me.
"Race ya" and then he's gone.

Letting out a frustrated growl I take off after him making sure to dodge the debris and what not.

Catching up to him was easy and as I start jogging next to him I realize I could be lucifer.

We make it to the forest at about the same time forgetting all about our cars that were trashed anyways.

'Our family?'

Lucifer sends me a picture of them all. 'They are fine love. Defending their pack with the others'

At the end of fighting rouges and the occasional demon I'm livid to feel the loss of two of our members. Though it didn't make a dent in our numbers it did cause two mates to now be mate less and with their kids.

Letting out a pain filled howl and then a second one that shook the earth and was only filled with pure rage and a promise of death destruction and war.
One of those people that passed was my new gamma Cali.

Me and lucifer decide to put Jay as the new gamma since he was older than Angel,had experience in that field, and wanted to live in the pack house anyways.

The funerals of the deceased were over with in under two weeks and then the pack had another day of mourning. But exactly the next day wee were all out training for war.

Lucifer swings hard at me and I dodge it and try to do a round house kick at his stomach. His hand catches my foot and I kick my other leg up and quickly run up his chest while flipping myself over, doing a backflip.

Lucifer nods in approval and then we are back at it.

Only doing the simple things in public me and lucifer kept practicing blocking and keeping our feet grounded.

It was half fast 2 when I sent a message for everyone to take an hour break but still be on alert.

We didn't know when the attack would come.

once everyone cleared the field and there was only a couple stragglers I look at lucifer and smirk.

Taking off my thirst so I was
only in my leggings and sports bra I laugh at lucifers protective/arroused growl.
"Your not scared I'll beat you in front of everyone are you lucifer?"

Lucifer huffs in irritation.

"I'll have you down easily". Taking off his shirt after this statement and flexing I snarl at some girls who were passing by that stopped to drool.
Maybe this wasn't a good idea.

Getting into position I lunge at lucifer but at the last second instead of tackling him I wrap one arm around his neck and do a tricky move of throwing him over my shoulder while I land on my back.

Well that's what I thought had happened.

In reality lucifer met my oncoming attack with his own so we sort of had a cliche tumble to the ground except he was on top of me.

His bare glistening with sweat chest makes my core start to heat and I bite my lip.

"Aphrodite we are supposed to be training" lucifer grounds out after taking a deep breath of my arrousal.
I wrap both arms around his neck and begin to pull him down.

"We have an hour of free time" I whisper against his lips before biting his bottom one. Pulling at the hairs on his neck I smirk. "Plus, this would be great training"

"Alpha Bro what's up?"

I sigh irritably at Jays voice.

Lucifer hops off me and I grab his out reached hand to help pull myself up.

Using my magic but making it look realistic I have my shirt flow up into my hands as I was standing and then I put it on.

Jay turns to face us after I tell him I'm good and lucifer relaxes also.

"What is it you want?" Lucifer says warily.

Jay smiles secretively, immediately putting me on edge.

"Nothing much. Just want to runs down some battle procedures and all with you"

My wolf stands attentively at him wanting information of our pack and I send Lucifer my concern.

"I think we've talked about battle strategies enough for one day. What do you think my Queen"

I smirk slightly at lucifers comment and nod authoritively.

"I think your right. No need going over something we all know by heart is there anything else you wanted.... Jay?" I question watching him intently.

His right eye and right pinkie twitch simultaneously and I step closer to lucifer.

"Sure.... I'll talk to you guys later"

Lucifer growls irritably and I do also.

"No matter your relation to either of us you must never forget that we are your Queen and King. Show us respect"

"I don't think anyone can forget" jay replies annoyingly while turning his back and walking away.

'I have a bad feeling about him Lucifer'

I send through the mind link. And angry lash comes back at me. 'That is my brother!'

Pulling away from lucifer i smile sadly at him.

"It seems we are back where we started".

Lifting my left hand I stroke his cheek tenderly then use my magic to make it feel as if I kissed him though we both knew I didn't.

Taking steps back I wave at him.

'Lets just take a break from each other. I to rethink some things and you to realize that your family is not as loyal as you thought'
