Marinette was baking cookies downstairs in the bakey. There were a few people inside eating breakfast since it was 9 AM.

The door opened and another customer walked inside.

"Hello, welcome to the Dupen-Chen Bakery how may I take your-Adrien?!" Marinette squeaked seeing the handsome blonde smiling happily at the counter along with Nino and Alya.

"Hey Girl! We came to visit. Wanna hang?" Alya asked.

"I would! But the bakery doesn't close for another two hours and we still have customers. If you guys wanna hang out here that's fine. I'm baking cookies if you guys want to help." Marinette offered.

"Sure, that would be sick!" Nino said.

"Sure, thanks Marinette." Adrien winked.

Alya walked over beside Marinette.

"Need some help?" She asked kindly.

"That would be wonderful, could you preheat the oven? I have three more batches to make." Marinette panted from churning the heavy cookie batter.

Alya nodded and took that task to hand.

"Anything for us to do?" Adrien asked.

"Well... Nino could you actually wipe down some of the tables? And Adrien you could help me form these cookies on the cookie sheets. Thank you guys, this means a lot." Marinette smiled.

"Awesome. We've got nothing else to do." Adrien chuckled and wiped some cookie batter on Marinette's face.

"Hey!" Marinette giggled, rubbing it off.

Adrien smiled and rolled up his sleeves. He washed his hands and grabbed some cookie dough and formed tiny balls and set them on the sheet. Marinette did this also.

"So, Marinette. Do you get paid for this?" Adrien asked.

"Yep! I'm a certified employee. And my parents just so happen to be my bosses. It pays well too. I-"

"This is disgusting! Utterly foul! I have never tasted worse food in my life!" Marinette was cut off by a loud snarl.

Marinette gasped and ran over.

"I'm so sorry Ma'am I- CHLOE?!" She gasped seeing the snotty brat had taken one bite of a croissant and cursed it.

Adrien, Alya, and Nino came over.

"Chloe what's your deal? These croissants are the best!" Nino protested.

"It's because SHE made them! That's why they're disgusting." Chloe spat and pointed a finger at Marinette.

"I ought to shove that croissant up your a-"

"Chloe why are you so rude to everybody?! Marinette is super talented, and if you don't see that, that's your issue!" Adrien cut Alya off perfectly in time.

Marinette blushed at the way her friends stood up for her to Chloe.

"Adrikins! Why would you say that? We were childhood friends! Have you forgotten that?" Chloe whimpered like a baby.

Marinette then had it.

"Alright Chloe. You are hereby banned from ever coming to Dupen-Chen bakery ever again. If you come in here again, we will have our rights to call the police." Marinette wrote on a clipboard.

"What?! You can't BAN me! My daddy wouldn't take that very lightly!" Chloe threatened, pulling out her phone.

"It's your DADDY'S law! Now OUT, Brat!" Marinette snarled.

"Fine! It's not like I ever want to come back here!" Chloe hissed and took her purse, stomping out.

Marinette steamed with anger.

"Woah Girl! You stood up to Chloe! I'm proud of you! You sure showed that BI-" Nino put his hand over Alya's mouth.

"We're in a restaurant!" He whispered.

Marinette smiled a bit.

"Thank you guys for standing up for me." Marinette said.

"Hey, it's no issue. Chloe doesn't have the right to talk to you, or anybody like that." Adrien said.

Marinette straightened.

"Alright! Lets make some cookies!" She giggled.
