Adrien had been sitting in the hospital waiting room that entire week. The only time he wasn't there was when he was at home. The hospital was completely locked down from fanatics and the press that begged for explanations. Adrien planned to tweet it, but decided to just explain at an interview he was supposed to have tonight with Ladybug... But since he hasn't seen her since the incident... He is doubting she can make the event.
"Adrien Agreste?" A doctor asked for him quietly.
Adrien jumped up excitedly, holding roses. The doctor smiled with much sympathy and gestured him over.
"Cat Noi- I mean... Adrien. La-Marinette can leave today. You may go in and see her." The Doctor said softly.
Adrien gasped, thanked her, and raced into the room. He looked to see Marinette with a large bandage around her chest. She wrote in her diary calmly, Tikki sat on her shpulder.
"Adrien!" Tikki squealed.
Marinette jerked her head up to see Adrien. Her eyes sparked with emotion. Adrien raced towards her and hugged her.
"The Doctors told me you've been here all week... I'm so sorry you've had to wait." Marinette whispered.
"Don't apologize... I'd wait forever for you." He murmured.
Marinette smiled weakly and hugged him tightly.
"H-How are you?" Marinette asked him.
Adrien flinched a bit, remembering having to explain to Nathalie about the incident. Thank goodness she decided, along with Adrien and Gorilla, to sell the house. Adrien had to say goodbye to the two and the house. He's been living with the Dupan-Chengs. Adrien explained all of this.
"Wow... I-I'm so sorry..." Marinette murmured.
"It's okay. Your parents have been a real help. Currently, all of Gabriel's old stuff, and mine are in storage." Adrien said, insisting on never calling Gabriel his father again.
"That's good... Alright. I'm ready to go home! ...Uh, can you h-help me get up?" Marinette chuckled.
Adrien nodded, helping her out of bed. Marinette stood straight up and took a long breath of relief.
The two then signed out of the hospital and the moment they exited, caution tape made a walkway to Adrien's car. Fanatics screamed at the edges but police officers pushed them back.
Before they entered, Adrien turned and called out.
"All will be explained tonight!" And slipped into his car with Marinette, and left.

After Marinette's welcome from her parents, she and Adrien sat in her room to talk.
"Adrien, what did you mean by 'All will be explained tonight?'" Marinette asked.
"Well... Remember we had an interview tonight with Mrs. Chamock?" Adrien said quietly.
"Yes..."
Adrien smiled nervously.
"Adrien... We can't-"
"Marinette they already know that we are Ladybug and Cat Noir! This running around in secret won't stop until we explain! Please, you don't have to come... But we need to agree on this." Adrien explained.
Marinette though for a moment. She looked to her kwami, who nodded in ahreement with Adrien.
"All right. I agree. But, I'm coming with!" Marinette insisted.
"Great!"
