Adrien and Marinette walked into the interview as themselves, normal and calm. Mrs. Chamock gasped to see a model, and her babysitter standing before her. Marinette sat down uncomfortably.
"You gonna be okay?" Adrien whispered.
Marinette nodded and sat up straight.
"Thank you both... So much... For everything... I never expected... I-I never-"
"You're very welcome." Adrien said smoothly. Mrs. Chamock nodded.
"We're live in ten seconds!"
Adrien looked at Marinette. He grabbed her hand, it was shaking like a maraca on Cinco De Mayo. Marinette and Adrien exchanged nervous glances.
"3..."
Adrien tightened his grip on Marinette's hand...
"2..."
Marinette took a shaky breath in, her heart racing rapid fire...
"1..."
"We are live with... Ladybug and Cat Noir... You all know that during their... Incident with Hawkmoth... Their identities were revealed. Miss Marinette Dupan-Cheng and Adrien Agreste..." Mrs. Chamock explained. You could hear screams outside.
"We understand this has come as a shock... It came to us when we found out who each other were as well. We doubted ourselves in the beginning... But we hope you won't change your minds about us..." Adrien exclaimed
"Adrien... I hate to get personal but, did you know that your father was Hawkmoth?" Mrs. Chamock asked.
"Not at all... Yes he was cold, but I never..." Adrien broke off.
During this, Marinette sat, dead in silence hearing the disapproving voices of her classmates discouraging her... Taunting her... Will they lose faith in Ladybug? What about Chloe?! Marinette flinched and looked up abruptly, Mrs. Chamock had asked her a question.
"I'm sorry, Marinette just went through a week of emergency care because Hawkmoth had... s-stabbed her countless times... S-She almost died." Adrien jumped in.
Mrs. Chamock looked to Marinette, pity filling her eyes.
I don't want your pity!! Marinette thought.
Suddenly Marinette's eyes blazed and she looked up.
"To all of you who maybe go to school with Adrien and me and are losing faith in Ladybug and Cat Noir because we were the ones behind the mask, stop now. We work our tails off for your safety, sure we have great people supporting us, but you expect so kuch of us! We're teenagers on our way to college! We have lives! I can't count the amount of absences and tardies I've had to take in classes, lowering my grade to the point that I'm studying all night! Our lives may look like a movie, and it is knowing you can save lives, but it is strenuous and tough! We need one thing of you, that you support us. When it gets tough, remember we are here for you. Now that there will be no more akumas... Cat Noir and I can focus on more important issues at hand. Such as our newest co-worker, Rena Rouge. By the way, don't even think we'll tell you her identity. Cat Noir and I were a major slip but I assure will NOT happen again. It's bad enough so many people know. But it was hard keeping this part of me even from my parents. Anyway, the moral of this is, we are here for you, but we aren't gods who can magically make all your troubles poof away. That's where you come in. Thank you all for believing in us." Marinette bursted.
It was so silent you could hear a pin drop. Adrien took Marinette's hand.
"Wow... Thank you, Marinette. Well, that is all the time we have today. Thank you for tuning in, I believe this moment has marked an important place in history for Paris."

"Now what?" Adrien asked as they walked casually down the streets, parades of fans screaming.
"Well, we have college and-" Marinette broke off to look into Adrien's eyes.
"We also have important things to discuss." Adrien explained.
"Like?" Marinette pushed.
"Liiiiike... When my next meal is?" Adrien laughed.
"Silly Kitty!" Marinette jumped up and kissed Adrien's cheek, but he grabbed her face and kissed her.
