Ladybug stared at Cat Noir blankly.
Cat Noir tilted his head.
"L-Ladybug?"
Ladybug then snapped out of it.
"YOU KNOW MARINETTE?!" Ladybug squeaked.
"Y-Yeah? Wait, you know her?!" Cat Noir asked.
"I have to go." Ladybug stood up and grabbed her yo-yo.
"Wait, M'Lady what's wrong? I-" Cat Noir began.
But he was too late, Ladybug had already left.

Marinette took a run early that morning.
She hoped it would clear her mind, but it just provoked more thoughts.
She shook it off and sped up.
"Wah!" Marinette ran into something, tripping her.
She looked back to see Adrien laying on the ground.
"A-Adrien! I'm so sorry, I-" Marinette gasped.
"No, no it's alright. Sorry, I-"
"Oh, Adrikins!"
Adrien was cut off by a loud squeal.
Chloe ran up beside him and took his arm. She narrowed her eyes at Marinette.
"Hello, Chloe." Marinette said coldly.
Chloe whipped her hair and got up close to Adrien.
"Adrikins, you should tell Marinette about us!" She said.
"I don't think-" Adrien began but Chloe put her index finger over his lips.
"I don't think Daddy would be very happy with that." She whispered, making sure Marinette couldn't hear.
"Y-Yeah. Uh-Marinette. Chloe and I are... Dating..." Adrien said.
Marinette's ground fell.
She felt her heart break inside of her.
She looked down with a dark and blank face.
"I see." She murmured.
Adrien stepped forward.
"Marinette, I-"
Marinette shook him off and ran away.

Marinette dove into her bed, sobbing.
"Marinette, don't cry! It's Adrien's loss!" Tikki tried to reassure her.
"I knew he didn't care for me! I'm so stupid! I thought, "just maybe he likes me!" But I was wrong!" Marinette cried into her pillow.
"Marinette..." Tikki murmured.
Marinette rubbed her eyes and sat up.
She stood up.
"Tikki, can I be alone?" Marinette asked.
Tikki nodded.
Marinette walked out onto her balcony.
She looked up into the starry sky, feeling tears stream down her cheeks.
She looked down to see the Lucky Charm Adrien gave her.
She grabbed it in her hand and her tears fell onto it.
She shook her head and in fury she threw the Lucky Charm as far as she could.
She quickly regretted it but shook it off.
