Chapter 18

Ladybug stared at Cat Noir.

She then slapped him over the face.

"You Mangy CAT! I really thought you were good, and weren't a player. But I was wrong. I don't need you!" Ladybug screamed and left, her tears now streaming faster than ever.

She blocked out the sounds of Cat Noir screaming after her.

She arrived at home and de-transformed.

She leapt into her bed, sobbing uncontrollably.

Thank goodness her parents weren't home, they would ask too many questions.

"Marinette... You can't just stop." Tikki murmured.

"I can save Paris myself!" Marinette snarled.

Tikki flinched.

Tkki gave her some time and went into her drawer and went to sleep.

Marinette then heard a dark, shadowy voice.

"Hello, Marinette. I am Hawkmoth. I see Cat Noir has broken your heart. You can get revenge on him if you get me Cat Noir's Miraculous! It seems Ladybug shall not be fighting today, so you can easily take Cat Noir down."

Marinette tried to rip herself away from this feeling but she felt so urged to get her vengeance. She can't save Paris all the time.

"Yes, Hawkmoth. I hate Cat Noir. I will stop him." Marinette agreed, letting the akuma sink into her necklace Cat Noir had given to Ladybug.

"Ladybug... Since we're new at this whole... Hero thing. I got you this necklace. I just want to say I'm excited to work with you." Cat Noir said, handing Ladybug a necklace with a small ladybug on it.

"Thank you, Cat Noir!" Ladybug smiled and hugged him.

Marinette shoved the thought to the back of her mind as she transformed into Catcher. She was basically a dog, she had the power to get the help of dogs to bring down the Cat.

She took her whistle and blew it, suddenly dogs from all over town ran to greet her.

"Get Cat Noir!" She ordered.

The dogs howled and ran off in different directions.

Catcher sat down and waited for her prey.
