Elizabeth Baker's POV:

The red hair is swinging over her face as rage engulfs her eyes.

"You absolute bitch! You fucking bitch!" Jessica screams in my face, gripping my hair causing pain to rocket through my scalp, I try with all my will to not show it though.

"Why, may I ask am I such a bitch Jessica?" I ask as calmly as I can.

"Just because you live next door to him, doesn't mean he's yours." She hisses in my face, I internally roll my eyes.

"You're actually going to do this over a boy Jessica?" I say, attempting to cock my head under her steel grip on my hair.

"He's my boyfriend, so maybe you should back off your neighbour and stop being such a slut! He's got me, he doesn't need anyone else." She spits in my face and this time I actually roll my eyes.

"Jessica, I have literally no interest in Zach, I'm assuming that's who we're talking about? Romantically or otherwise, I am not interested. Have I ever been in any guy?" I respond as her nails begin digging into my head, I wince as the sharpness feels like it's cutting into my skull.

"No, but it would be just like you to take one from me!" She yells, I can see Charlie flaring up next to me, ready to pounce. The only thing holding her back is my hand wrapped around her arm.

"Jessica, you've had plenty of boyfriends! None of which I have ever gone near, why would I start now?" I plead with my eyes for her to stop digging her nails in, which apparently makes it worse and she begins twisting my hair.

"Maybe because he lives next door to you? Maybe because you think you actually have a chance with him! Which by the way you don't, so why don't you eat in the corner with your only friend and stay away from him!" She is beginning to scream as she slaps my cheek as hard as she can. The impact releasing a small screech of pain from my throat.

"Do it again, I dare you." I whisper as I clamp my own hand down on the vice grip she's held on my head and twist her hand off my head. She immediately releases her hold and stumbles back.

"You bitch! That hurt you bitch!" She yells as I just smile.

"Sadly Jessica, you can't play victim as everyone just saw you pull my hair and slap me. I was simply actin in self defence. And I'll say it again, your apparent boyfriend is not an interest of mine, so have him, if you're still an interest of his." I shake my head in disbelief as I take my books, shoving them in my bag and wander down the hall with Charlie on my heel. Anger pulsing through every vein, I simply walk through the doors with no plan to go back today.

"I'm gonna fucking kill her." Charlie says under her breathe as we skip down the steps of school.

"She's just worried she's gonna lose her new boy toy, it's fine." I mutter back, my hands shaking with rage that she slapped me. I mean she had the audacity to slap me? She is so lucky the only thing I did was twist her wrist a little to get her hand off my hair.

"Is he her boyfriend?" Charlie asks, genuine curiosity lasting her words.

"Knowing Zach, no. Knowing her, she doesn't need confirmation to think they are boyfriend and girlfriend. But even if they were, he's my friend and my next door neighbour it's not like I can actually avoid him." I respond, we are stumbling down the road back to home, it's about a twenty minute walk, I don't know why I don't walk it usually. Oh wait, I'm always late that's probably it.

"She's probably just jealous of you." Charlie responds, in a poor attempt to make me feel better.

"Is that all you've got, she slapped me so she must be jealous!" I say laughing at my sarcasm.
