George Moore's POV:

I'm driving down the road back from Joe's house, the street is lit warmly from the lamps. It's a Saturday and I was bored since Zach left so I headed to Joe's for the evening, but had to leave before his mom got back.

The car has a low hum of the engine and a quiet set of background music playing, very calming as I slowly drive through the suburbs. I start to pass Zach's house and consider to see if he's in. As I start to slow down all I see is Liz at first, she's jogging slightly towards someone. It's Zach, I think? She jogs towards him and then she tiptoes upwards and she...oh....my...god. She did not. She just...SHE JUST KISSED ZACH.

"Holy fucking shit." I whisper as I floor it back to my house and park.

I sprint in through the front door and storm up to Charlie's room. I hammer my fist on her door when she finally, in a groggy manner opens the door.

"What do you want shithead?" She spits at me, I immediately shove her into her room and slam the door behind us.

"It's Lizzie!" I yell at her, my eyes are widening every second.

"What about her?" She asks, rubbing her eyes slowly. "You never usually care." I have to admit I don't usually act like I care that much. But she's my twins best friend, and despite how irritable she is, she's lovely to my sister.

"Well I do care. Because she just kissed Zach!" I shouted, almost screaming.

"Jesus keep it down! And when did you see this?" Her eyebrow is raised, she doesn't believe me.

"Just now, I swear it. She pecked him on the lips. Ask her I promise you ask her." I speak faster than ever before.

"Okay I believe you, that's great isn't it?!" She squeals a Little and jumps on her bed.

"Not really-" I begin.

"Oh come on! You're protective enough of me and now Liz is off bounds to everyone too?" She whines, shoving my shoulder.

"You're my sister, it's my job. I'm not saying Liz is off bounds!" I defend myself.

"You are!" She laughs in shock almost.

"I'm not! I promise there's a reason why it's bad!" I yell back at her.

"Oh then what is it George, what's the big old reason? They're clearly mad about each other!" She throws her arms in the air in confusion, I pause as she waits patiently for a response. Should I tell her?

"There was a bet." I start saying.

"Excuse me?" She folds her arms as I gulp.

"A bet."

"What kind of bet George?" She demands.

"A bet that Zach can get any girl." I look down in shame. Not knowing how to handle this.

"Explain George." She says seriously.

"Well it was a lunch at one time, joe mentioned how Zach thought he could get any girl and I simply said that he had a bet there. It was in the first week of school, it was ages ago and I never thought he'd follow through." Stop talking George, you're making this worse.

"George just spit it out!" Charlie gets very angry very fast.

"Okay! Last week we were walking to the cars and Joe said that he and the rest of the boys in the grade would give him $25 for a kiss from her and $50 if they slept together! And I mean he shook it off, he did. Like it was absurd. But now I just saw them kissing and I just...thats cruel to do that. Cruel to a whole new level. I can't understand why he'd do it, he acts like he cares so much for her." I let loose a breathe I didn't realise I'd been holding.

"Fuck off." Is all she says at first. "Fuck off George! Why the fuck would you do that? Teasing her is one thing! But making a bet to Fuck around with her feelings! To make her kiss someone when she hasn't ever kissed anyone just for fucking money! I expected better of you! How would you like it if a bunch of boys did that to-" she stopped dead in her tracks. Everything she was previously screaming at me for, was now gone. She was silent.

"Charlie?" I whisper as I see tears welling up in her eyes.

Charlie Moore's POV:

What if Max had been doing the same. What if he didn't like me, he was just proving some bet to win money. Maybe it was a race...no...he wouldn't. He couldn't. George would have to know and would never allow it. Never. Fucking hell what the hell is wrong with him.

"I'm fine. I'm perfect, just how would you feel if it was me they did it to?" I shout at him, wiping my tears of anger away.

"I would..I would kill them." He mutters.

"Sorry what was that?"

"I would FUCKING KILL THEM OKAY!" He shouts louder than before, his eyes start to prick with tears as I grab my phone. "What, what are you doing?" He asks, I walk to the corner of my room and dial Liz's number.

"She needs to know George, I am not letting her get her heart destroyed." I state, he looks down in shame.

"It was me." Is all he says. I stay silent. "I was the one who said the bet. This is all my fault and I'm so sorry." I watched in disgust as he walked to my door.

"I thought you were better than this. I believed you were my brother who was caring and kind." Is all I say as he opens the door.

"Say sorry for me...please. And find it in your heart to forgive me." He mutters.

"You know I already have, but apologise yourself, tonight." I say as I write her number down for him and he walks into his own room. I sit down on the end of my bed, chewing my nails. I press the call button and wait for her to pick up.

"Hello?" I hear the chirpy voice on the end of the phone.

"Liz, I need to tell you something about Zach."
