Don't let it trick you. ----------------------------------------------------------- I wake up and try to sit up, but I can't. Why can't I sit up? I try looking around but I can't see anything. But I can see the light shining in through the window of the basement. Nathan and I hadn't escaped. My mind tricked me. I thought I could trust my own mind, but I can't.
All of a sudden a door flings open. It looks like Hunter. The person flicked on the lights. I had to squint my eyes as the light burned my them.
My eyes finally got used to the light and I looked around the room trying to find the person who came in. I then meet eyes with the one I never wanted to see. Hunter.
Hunter walks over to me and pulls up my shirt to the top of my stomach, he then rubs his fingers over my stomach. I wince as pain shoots up through me. I look down at my stomach and see a long line of stitches.
All my life I have been hurt. My father is gone and now my mother is gone. I was the only child. My grandmother died when I was 7. I don't have an aunt or an Uncle. So, the question is, is anyone even looking for me. This has gone on for too long. I am never getting out of here.
Is Nathan even still here? Or did they kill him? When did I get strapped down to a bed? I can't move my arms and legs. I look up and see another figure start to walk in clutching on to something, someone, with the dim light it makes it hard to see until they get closer. Leo. He is pulling Nathan in the room. He's chained up. What happened to Nathan?
I'm pulled out of my thoughts as Leo pulls a gun out of his pocket. Then the unexpected happened, he pushed the barrel of the gun to Nathan's temple. "No! Please no!" I hear myself croak out. "Oh my god! You can't he's all I have left! No!" I keep screaming. But it's no use. Leo does not care. He is a ruthless killer.
"I love you. Stay strong." I hear Nathan say. Stay strong? They are about to kill him! He's all I have left! I feel tears streaming down my face. Leo and Hunter start smirking at me then, he's gone. They killed him. Leo pulled the trigger. I just seen a murder right before my eyes. I never expected that. I know they have killed and they will kill in front of me, but are they so heartless to kill the last person that keeps me going? What am I saying? Of course they are!
