"So, what are you wearing on your date?" Amelia asks.

"What I am wearing now and it ain't a date." I answer. I have told her over and over again that it is not a date.

"Whatever." Amelia laughs. Then a knock is heard.

"Have fun." Amelia says.

I walk out of the house after grabbing my phone. My money is in the back of my phone case, it makes it a lot easier for me.

"Hey, are you ready?" Mason asks.

I nod my head then we start walking to the elevator.

"I figured you were the kind of girl that likes to dress up, even if it ain't a date. You look great though." Mason laughs.

"I don't really do the whole dressing up thing, and so do you." I say.

I hope I didn't give him an idea by telling him he looks good, if Amelia and Newt are right. He does look good, but I am not ready for another relationship right now.

Finally, we are at the cafe. We walk in and take a booth.

We order our food, and it took like twenty minutes until we got it. This is supposed to be a little cafe. Not an actual restaurant. I'm not picky about when I get my food, but it should not have taken twenty minutes.

We start eating then as we finish we just sit there talking. We talk about what we like, what we don't like, talked about our dead parents, the things they used to say. We talked about a lot until we left.

As we walked out the door, Mason grabbed my hand and spun me around.

"I like you, Alexandra. Maybe when the time is right we can be together." Mason said then kissed me. It took me by surprise. I froze for a few seconds then melted in the kiss and kissed back.

It wasn't a long kiss, but it wasn't a short kiss either. It wasn't a messy kiss. It was soft. I felt sparks. Something I had never felt before.

"Wow." Is all I could say.

I turned around and we started walking to the dorms.

"I actually would like that. But right now is not really a great time." I say.

"That's all right. I can wait. A girl like you is always worth waiting for." Mason says sweetly. Suddenly, I feel butterflies in my stomach.

That is how we ended the night. I had a great time with him.
