"Well, it's hard not to want you." I hear Mason whisper back. We are laying on the beach, wrapped in a blanket, both of us naked. Just stargazing.
"So, what now?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" Mason asks confusingly.
"I mean, we are apparently more than friends....." I say.
"I guess you can say we are." I hear him chuckle.
That doesn't exactly answer my question but I guess it will do for now.
Mason props up above me and starts kissing me. Then suddenly a light is shining on us and a man staring down at us.
"It is twelve at night, time to go home." The man sternly says. I am now realising he patrols here at night. Mason and I both just look at each other.
We start getting up carefully not letting the blanket fall, and grabbing our clothes. The man looks at us weirdly as we start walking away.
"So embarrassing!" I whisper-shout. Of course, Mason just laughs at me. As we are walking back to the truck I slide on my underwear and I believe Masons shirt.
"You have to admit, that was hilarious." Mason says as we get in his truck.
"It was not, that was embarrassing." I say.
"You had fun though." Mason says. Clearly having a big ego. I think it's cute though.
My face automatically turns blood red, I can feel it. What am I supposed to say?
"Awe, why are you blushing so bad?" Mason asks, chuckling.
I can feel my face turn even more red. How red can my face get? Just start the truck and let's get away from the beach already.
"My shirt looks better on you than it ever did on me." He says.
"Uh, thanks." I say and I feel my face heating up again. I used to never be a blusher. Why am I now?
He finally tears his gaze from me and we start heading back to the dorms. We ride back to the dorms in silence, a comfortable silence though.
