"Why are we in a field Markian?" I question looking out into the field.

"You will just have to see for yourself. Come on." Markian says.

We get out of his truck and start walking.

We finally stop where it looks like he made a romantic picnic date. I start smiling. This is so cute!

"Awe! You did this for me?" I excitedly ask.

"That's not all." Markian gets down on one knee, and opens a ring box. Oh my, is he about to propose?! We are too young to get married! It's also too early in our relationship.

"I know what you are thinking, so no, it is not an engagement ring. I'm not proposing just yet." He pauses. "I am giving and hoping you listen to what I have to say and take this promise ring. I promise I will forever and always love you, no matter what obstacles come in our way. I promise I will stick by you until the end. I promise I will stay faithful to you. I promise I will protect you from any harm come your way. This ring holds all these promises and that I hope we will be married one day and have our own little family. Wear this ring as our commitment to this relationship and our future. Will you take this ring and all these promises?" Markian states and questions.

I start crying. Not from sadness, but from happiness. He came up with a whole paragraph just for a promise ring? What could he possibly say when he proposes? Because this was good enough for it to be a proposal!

"Y-yes." I croak out.

He stands up and slides the ring on my finger. Then we kiss for a long time.

"I love you Alexandra." Markian states.

"I love you Markian." I state.

"Lets eat." We simultaneously say.

We both laugh then start eating.

There is mini PB&J sandwiches, fruit, and a salad with carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes in it.

We get finished and head to the truck not too long after.

Markian gets on the road but drives in the opposite direction of my dorm.

"Um, Markian, my dorm is the other direction." I state.

"There is more." He excitedly says.

Oh, he has done a lot for this date.

We pull into an iceskating rink.

"I don't know how to ice skate...." I awkwardly say.

"Neither do I." Markian states while grinning ear to ear.

We go in and pay and slide our skates on. We both stand up and hurry to the railing before we fall.

I finally get the courage to let go of the railing after several minutes and immediately fall. Markian tries to help me up but in the process he falls also.

We both burst out laughing laying on the cold ice floor. Tears start coming out of my eyes from laughing so hard.

As the night goes on it comes to an end. I wish it didn't have to end right now, but I'm so exhausted. From having so much fun. Today was so good.
