The next day I walked down the corridor toward the kitchen area, where I knew that at least a few members would be. Sasori, deidara, and itachi were there. I walked up to them casually and they all looked to me. "Hello all. Are you all as bored as I am with nothing to do?" I asked laying my head down onto the table. Deidara jumped up out of his seat. "I feel like the leader is suppressing my art! He hasn't sent us out to do anything in a week! Training is fine and all but its no substitute for using my art to destroy villages and obliterate the people with beautiful explosions." I smirked at him. "Hey deidara, I know what could be fun." He looked at me and nodded for me to go on. "I could give hidan that rematch he wants. Then maybe it would rile everyone else up enough where we can all spar it out." He shrank down a bit in disappointment. "Yeah I guess that would be okay. Not as fun as you lead me on for though." "I'm sorry dei. How about when leader sama decides that its time to come back to action then we can go on a mission together and we can each show off our art." He perked up at that. "Really? You are going to show a little bit more of your skills?" He asked, getting excited because I barely ever agree to pull out any of my power and show them. All they know is that I am strong enough and scary enough for them to stay on my good side. "Sure. Now what do you say we go and find Hidan to let him know that I am agreeing to give him his rematch now.
After we found him and informed him of my agreement to face him in battle again Hidan was getting very hyped up. " This time bitch. This time I'll sacrifice you to my lord and be done with you." He smirked confidently. I just rolled my eyes at him. "Hidan sweetheart, you're beginning to sound a lot like a broken record. You should really come up with some new ways to speak to your opponents." He just threw a slew of cusses at me and we waited for leader sama to count down the fight, all of our Akatsuki members stood a ways away waiting for the fight to start. "I bet you 20 bucks Kira wipes the floor with him again." Deidara said to the group. "You're on bomb boy." Kisame laughed out. "Hidan is pretty pissed about last time. So he will be going all out." He explained. They each put their money down while the others just rolled their eyes. No one seemed to notice that there was an Akatsuki member that wasn't present. "Ready, begin!" Leader called out to us and Hidan was immediately in action. He was circling me with his scythe held in his hands as he slowly closed his circle in on me. I hadn't noticed until he stopped two feet in front of me and yanked on what appeared to be thin air but in reality was extremely thin chakra wires. His chakra flowed through the wire as I was wrapped and bound in it. Ill admit, it hurt like hell. But thankfully pain is my bread and butter. I smiled and wrapped my hand around the cord as well, pulsing my own chakra into the wire and back at him. He flew back into a wall and slumped against it holding his head. "Oww bitch! That was impressive. It takes a lot of energy to beat back MY chakra though." He said proudly, looking up at me. His face fell however, when he realized that I was not even winded by using that much chakra at once. I'll admit that it did affect me. Just not very much.
He came at me again, slicing at me with his scythe. He was very fast but I was faster. That is until I tripped. I fell, and he took this opportunity and sliced my side with his scythe. I hissed in pain as he lifted the scythe to his mouth. I had to think of a way to stop him. As soon as he tastes my blood he will know who I am. My blood gives people an immense power surge and aside from that his powers won't work with my blood. It wont even transform him like with other people. I needed to think quickly, but I also needed to buy Orochimaru some more time. I spun around, jumping to my feet in the process, and threw multiple shiriken right in the inch between Hidan and his scythe. He smirked at me. "Afraid to see the power of Jashin up close and personal huh? Don't worry, its a beautiful way to sacrifice, so much blood is involved." I smiled to myself. It was beautiful, the way they sacrificed for me, wasn't it? But that wasn't why I needed to stop him. Then I was struck with an idea. "That does sound beautiful. Can you explain it to me more? I'm intrigued." Hidan froze for a second. Not used to people actually being interested in his rather gore filled religion. "W-what?" He thought for a second and then suddenly became enraged. "You dare to mock my religion a second time?!" He exploded. But my goal was successful. He completely forgot about the blood on his scythe as he lunged toward me at full speed, slicing at me as much as he can. " I'll rip you to shreds!" He yelled. I side stepped him and laughed. "You really shouldn't let your rage blind you while there is a battle happening." I said. And as he spun around I slashed a kunai through him neck, effectively severing his head. I pulled his head up so that we were face to face. He was fuming. "I guess that this means that I win round Two. I said as I laughed and tossed his head over to his body. "pay up!" Deidara yelled as Kisame grudgingly handed him the money. "Damnit Hidan. I bet money on you." He said angrily. Hidan was too busy cursing at me as I walked into the base to hear him though.
As I was walking inside I wondered if I had bought Orochimaru enough time. An hour later I found out that I had when we were all called into pein's office. "Orochimaru has abandoned the organization and fled. If any of you see him he is now to be killed on site." Pein explained to us. We all agreed and went back to our rooms. We were also notified that because of Orochimaru's absence that the teams would be being shuffled up and a new member would be brought in sometime soon. As I walked into my room at the far end of one of the corridors I felt a sharp pain and my vision blurred for a minute. "Shit!" I cursed as I realized my mistake. I forgot to wipe my blood off of the scythe.
