{Oblivious}

The scariest part of love is feeling yourself falling. You're stomach drops as if you jumped off of a tall building. That's what falling in love feels like. But you never stop falling. Even when you feel like you've hit the ground. It only stops when someone catches you.

Everyone was done shopping at target. Todd and Corrina still refused to share a seat so I was gonna end up sitting on David's lap again.
They all piled into the car and I sat on Davids lap. I guess I was tired in the car because I ended up falling asleep on David on the way home.
A few minutes later I felt myself wake up a little bit. My eyes were still closed but I remember feeling David carrying me bridal style out of the car. I fell back asleep in Davids arms.
I woke up in a place I didn't really recognize. I checked the time on my phone. 3:32am.
I rubbed my eyes and turned the light on in the room. I was in someone's bedroom. It looked familiar. I walked out of the room to see David on a couch on his phone. He looked so cute. He was wearing a white shirt, black sweatpants and, his glasses. It was adorable. I now recognized the place, it was Davids apartment. Alex and Dom were in their rooms. I must have been in Davids room.
"David, how did I end up here?" I asked
He turned to me, he seemed shocked that I was awake
"Oh you woke up, I carried you here because you fell asleep on me in the car." He responded
"I'm so sorry, you didn't have to do that. You could have just woken me up." I said
"You don't have to be sorry I wanted to carry you here." He said
I felt my heart jump in my chest.
"I should probably go to my apartment, plus your place is really cold." I said crossing my arms as the chilly air surround me.
"What if I want you to stay?" He smiled
"But it's cold." I whined
David opened the blanket he had wrapped around himself and patted the couch, wanting me to sit with him. I playfully rolled my eyes and sat with him. He wrapped one side of the blanket around me and we shared it. I felt his arm wrap around me, attempting to retain warmth.
"Are you any warmer?" David asked
"A little."
"Do you wanna film that video for my second channel tomorrow?" He asked
"Sure." I smiled
David was looking at me. It had seemed if he was lost in my eyes. He stared at me for a moment. He held me pretty tightly.
"I'm really glad I met you." He said, it sounded more like a spoken thought than something he would just say
"I'm glad I met you too." I smiled
There was so much romantic tension. I really wanted him. I wish I could give him everything. He deserves the world.
"You know something, you are one of the most amazing people I have ever met." He said
"Really? Because you are the best person that I've ever met." I giggled
His thumb and index finger lifted my chin so our eyes met. Suddenly his lips met mine. Its as if I felt everything all at once but at the same time I was completely numb. He broke the kiss. I laid my head on his chest. His steady breathing was so peaceful. But my feelings caused my insomnia. What would we become? What will happen now? I was oblivious to the future. All I knew is that I've never felt this way. I've never looked at someone like I look at him. He's different. He's perfect.

I woke up cuddling David. He was still sleeping as I clung to him. My thoughts were scattered. Did he want me? Are we just friends? Was that kiss just a compulsive decision? I'm not sure. What is this boy doing to me? I feel as if I'm loosing my mind. He slowly started to wake up. My head rested on his shoulder. He opened his eyes and rubbed them. He looked down at me.
"Morning." He said
His sleepy voice was magical.
"Morning Davie." I smiled
We were still cuddling. I'm not sure what he wants. Does he want a relationship or was this just a one time thing?
"I should really head to my apartment, I have to get ready so we can film that video for your second channel." I said
"Ugh, but I really don't want you to leave, I'll get cold." David said gripping my waist tighter
I felt like there were flames scorching me. He was so pretty. I know it might seem strange to call a boy pretty but it was like I was looking at a piece of art. He was gorgeous.
"I know, but I'll be back in like fifteen minutes, I just have to put on make up and stuff." I laughed
"Okay fine, but you have to hurry because we need to film the video, and I'll miss you."
I smiled and headed out the door and down the hall to my apartment. I tried to stop the thoughts in my head. I'm tired of contemplating whether he likes me or not. I did my hair and make up and I put on a plain black t-shirt and black leggings because I was going to have to change later any way because I'm gonna get covered in water. I made my way back to Davids apartment. I opened his apartment door to see that David had already had the camera set up. He had the huge bottles of water too. He changed into a black hat, a black shirt and, of course black jeans.
"Oh my God Ava, we're matching." He said following his sentence with laughter
I looked down at my outfit and laughed
"Omg twins." I joked
He laughed
I saw that David had set up two chairs to face each other. I sat on one of the chairs and he sat in the other. David pressed record.
"Hey guys welcome back to my second channel, today I'm here with my friend Ava and we are playing the make me laugh challenge. If you don't know how the game works one person fills their mouth with water and the other person has to make them spit out the water by making them laugh without touching them." He explained
The whole time he was talking I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. Every inch of him was amazing.
"Okay let's get started, who's going first?" I asked
"I fill my mouth with water first and you have to make me laugh." He said
He filled his mouth with water and faced me.
"Hey David, how old am I?"
David held up one finger and then held up nine fingers to show that I was 19.
"You know what's better than 19? Twenty fiiive." I laughed
David laughed and spit the water all over me.
"SpongeBob jokes are cheating, they're always funny." David laughed
I laughed at David's response
"Your turn to make me laugh." I said while filling my mouth with water
"Ready?" David asked
I nodded my head yes in response. David stared at me for a long time.
"I am a squirrel." He said in a monotone voice
I laughed and spit out my water
"It wasn't even funny! It was stupid." I chuckled
"Then why are you laughing?" David laughed
We made more jokes, and we spit water everywhere. David did an outro and shouted out my channel. He turned off the camera.
I rung out my shirt, water dripped from it.
"I'm gonna go to my place to change." I said
"Ok be back soon I have a surprise for you when you get back." David said
