{Lost}

He is the sea,
wild and free.

I know I could never
fully explore his expanse
and will most certainly
become lost in his waves forever,
yet with a torn sail and a smile,
I set sail anyhow.

My eyes fluttered awake. I felt David's arm around me. I slowly turned around to face him. I looked down to realize that I was wearing his shirt. Suddenly I recalled the events from last night. David had very obvious hickeys all over his neck, and so did I. He was so pretty when he slept. David was woken up by a loud pounding on the door.
"I need in my bedroom you guys, you better be out soon!" Todd yelled through the door
David laughed and looked at the mural of him and Todd having sex on the wall.
"You know, when this was being painted I never thought that I would ever have sex in here." He laughed some more
I laughed too. David pulled me closer to him.
"You are so cute." He said
"Shut up." I smiled
"Well you are." He retorted
"We should probably go out there." I said standing up and putting on a pair of pj shorts.
"Can I have my shirt back?"David asked chuckling
"No, it's mine now." I replied
"Okay fine." David got up and put his jeans on.
David went over to the door and opened it. I followed him out to the living room. Scotty was laying on the couch on his phone. He looked up from his screen at me and David.
"What were you two up to last night." Scott said jokingly as he probably already suspected what we did.
David smiled and I blushed slightly.
"Nothing friends wouldn't do." I said sitting down on the couch.
David sat next to me.
"David, what's that on your neck?" Corinna asked walking into the living room.
"Uhhh I don't know what your talking about." David said smiling
"The hickies." Corinna laughed
"Oh those are from Todd, me and him had a wild night without you." David joked
"What about you Ava, who gave you those hickies." Scott asked
"Corinna." I replied jokingly
"I don't remember doing that." Corinna played along
"You were really drunk and you thought I was Todd." I said laughing
"Oh makes sense." She laughed
We heard two people arguing in the kitchen. Todd walked into the living room followed by Jason.
"Look now I have to wash my fucking bed sheets because these two fucked in my room!" Todd yelled pointing at David and I.
Jason laughed at Todd.
"It's not funny!" Todd said laughing a little himself.
"I thought you guys weren't dating." Jason said crossing his arms.
"We aren't." David said
"I was right you two are hooking up, and Ava tried to say that she would never do that." Scott said
"I'm a good liar." I said with a shrug.
I checked the time on my phone. I didn't record anything for this weeks video so I should probably head to my apartment and film.
"I should go, I gotta film for my channel today." I said
"I'll drive you, I have to go back to my apartment too." David said
David and I gathered all our things and put on our clothes from last night. We said goodbye to all of our friends and headed to the car.
David opened my car door for me. He got in the drivers side. He checked his phone quickly and then we were headed back to the apartment building. As we were heading to the building David spoke up.
"Hey uhh, this is a weird question but, what we did last night, did it mean something to you?" He asked
I looked at him.
"Of course it did. I wouldn't have been okay with it if it didn't mean something." I responded
He smiled.
"Did it mean something to you?" I asked
"Yeah it meant everything to me." He replied
I smiled too.
After a few minutes of driving we made it back to the apartment building. I opened the car door and headed toward the lobby. David got out of the car too.
"I thought you had to go to your house." I said.
"I do but I want to walk you to your place." He said
"Oh okay." I replied
We walked into the door of the apartment building. We got into the elevator and headed to the sixth floor.
"What are you gonna do while I'm making a video?" I asked
"Probably get Chick-fil-A with Jason and Trish." He said
"But I'm gonna fucking miss you cause I'm dumb." He added
"Why are you dumb for missing me?" I asked chuckling.
"Because I could stay with you but I also really want Chick-fil-A." He explained
"So you're choosing food over me?" I asked
"Yes that's exactly what I'm doing." He laughed.
I jokingly flashed David a sad look.
"Awww don't be sad." He said pulling me in for a hug.
The elevator doors opened. We walked to my apartment door. Davids arm was around me. I unlocked my door and opened it. Before I went inside I turned to David.
"Have fun eating food while I film." I giggled
"I will." He smiled
He grabbed my waist and pulled me in for one last hug. He cupped my cheek and kissed me goodbye.
"Byyye." He said in his cute baby voice 
"Byyye." I mimicked as he walked back to the elevator.
I went into my apartment.
I quickly hopped in the shower. The hot water cascaded down me as I was in deep thought. I hope soon David and I could be together.
I got out of the shower and dried my hair. I put on make up and got ready to film a video.
I pressed record and did my intro. I was filming a haul video when my phone started blowing up. I rolled my eyes and checked my phone.
It was a text from Alex.
