{Silence}

Tonight we'll
talk about
whatever you want to,
and if you don't
well we can sit
in silence.

He kissed my head as I laid on his chest. It's so difficult to put into words how much he means to me. I feel complete now that I'm his girlfriend. It's all I could ever ask for.
"When are you leaving to go to that skating place?" I asked
"Soon, but not right now." He said.
I sat up and stretched.
"Do you want me to get you some foods and bring it home to you?" I asked in a baby voice
"Yes pwease." He said in a baby voice as well.
"Okay, I'll get you some IHOP or something." I said leaning down and hugging him.
"Are you sure you don't want me to come with?" He asked
"I'll be fine." I responded
"Okay, can I get a kiss?" He asked
I leaned in and kissed him.
"Okay I'm gonna go, byyye." I said putting shoes on and opening the door. David tossed me the key to the Tesla.
"Byyye Ava." David said with a wave.
I walked outside and hopped in the car. I needed some content for my channel so I decided to vlog me going to get David some IHOP. I didn't really have a vlog camera, so most of the time I just used my phone. I set my phone on the dash board and pressed record. I started driving.
"Hey guys, so today I'm getting my friend David some pancakes at IHOP, and because he's such a good friend, he's letting me drive his car." I said to the camera.
After some driving and talking to the camera I made it to the restaurant. I decided to just order one stack of regular pancakes to go because I didn't really want anything. I got back in the car and started recording again.
"So I got David some pancakes and now I'm going back to his house, David is actually going to some sort of skateboarding place today, and the last time he was there he got a concussion so let's all hope he won't die when he goes there." I joked.
I turned off the camera and started driving back to David's house. As I was driving my mind was filled with fuzzy thoughts of me and David. He makes me so happy. I finally feel like I'm in a good place with my life.
I arrived back at David's house. I got out of the car and opened the front door. As I opened the door I heard someone growl. I jumped and screamed. Sure enough it was David vlogging. I slapped his arm.
"I brought you food you asshole!" I laughed putting my hand over my heart in shock.
"I'm sorry." David giggled.
He turned off his camera and set it down on the table next to him. He hugged me and I didn't hug back.
"Here's your food, I'm mad at you." I said jokingly handing him his to go box filled with pancakes.
He took the box and set it down on the table.
"Don't be mad at me I'm really sorry." He giggled sitting at the table in the kitchen.
I laughed sitting in the chair next to him.
I scrolled on my phone as David ate his pancakes. I wanted every day to be like this. It finally feels right.
"How are your pancakes?" I asked looking up from my phone.
"They're good. Thank you sooo much." He said putting his arm around me and pulling my close to him.
"I have to leave in like ten minutes, Zane and Heath are picking me up. Do you need a ride back to your apartment?" He asked
"No I'll just Uber." I responded
"Are you sure?" He asked
"Yeah I'll be fine." I smiled
"Okay. Thanks again for the food, you're the best." He said pulling me close and kissing my cheek.
I giggled
A car honked outside.
"I guess they're here early." David said getting up from his chair.
He walked over to the door and put on his shoes.
"I gotta go, I'll see you later." He said coming over to me and kissing me goodbye.
"Bye." I said as he walked out the door.
I needed to go to my place and get ready for the day. I called the Uber and waited for it to arrive. I looked around and made sure I wasn't forgetting anything at David's. I decided to just mess around on my phone before I had to leave. Before I knew it my Uber was here and I was on my way to my apartment.
The car ride was filled with silence.

I got to my apartment building. I thanked the Uber and walked into the lobby of the apartment building. I smiled because I saw Alex headed toward the same elevator I was going into.
"Alex!" I called
He turned around and smiled.
"Ava!" He said walking up to me and giving me a hug.
We walked in the elevator.
"Where were you?" He asked me
"Davids place, where were you?" I asked
"Just walking around." He responded
"Hey do you wanna come back to the apartment with me? Just as friends, me and Dom are bored." He said
"Sure, I have to go change and stuff first, I'll be over in two seconds." I said as the elevator doors opened.
I walked to my apartment and opened the door. I walked over to my dresser and picked out an outfit. I slipped it on and then looked in my mirror. I wiped the day old make up off my face. I decided to just put on some eyeliner and mascara because I was too lazy to put on concealer. I brushed my hair and put it in a bun. I stretched and walked out the door of my apartment and headed a few doors down to Alex and Dom's apartment. I knocked on their door and Alex opened the door. I instantly smelled weed and knew Dom was in the apartment. Alex and I greeted each other and sat down on the couch.
"So how have you and David been, are you guys still just friends?" Alex asked
I wasn't really ready to tell our friends about us being together, but I trust Alex enough to tell him.
"We're actually together." I smiled
"That's good, hey can I tell you something?" He said
"Yeah sure." I said hoping Alex didn't have a problem with my relationship status, seeing he said he liked me before.
"Ever since Corinna broke up with Todd, me and her have been hanging out a lot. I think I might be starting to like her, but I don't want to like her. I don't how to explain it it's weird." He stated frantically.
"I know what you mean. If you really think you like her, then show her that." I suggested
"I don't know if I really like her. I went over to her place and we kissed. It meant a lot to me but I don't know if she likes me. And I don't wanna piss off Toddy." He said
"I'm sure Todd will be fine. You deserve to be happy." I said
"Thanks." He smiled
My phone started ringing. I picked up my phone and saw that it was David who was calling me. I answered it
Ava: "Hello?"
David: "So Heath had to go home early and see Mariah so we were just going to Uber home but, we ran into a problem."
Ava: "And what would that problem be?"
David: "You're gonna be pissed."
Ava: "Please tell me what happened."
David: "I think I need to go to the hospital."
Ava: "I'm coming to get you."
David: "thank you so much. I'm so sorry."
Ava: "bye."
I hung up the phone and got up quickly
"What's going on?" Alex asked
"David has to go to the fucking emergency room!" I said with frustration in my tone.
"I'll drive you I know where the skating place is." Alex said
"Okay thank you so much! We'll take my car." I said rushing out the door.
We hurried out the doors of the apartment building and to the parking lot. We got in the car and began driving to the place where David and Zane were.
"What do you think happened?" Alex asked
"I don't know, but I fucking knew something like this would happen." I said
"It's okay, I'm sure David will be fine." Alex comforted
"Why is he so stupid?" I laughed slightly
"His fucking camera, that's why." Alex laughed
After driving around for a while we found the skate place.
Alex and I walked in the doors of the skating place to see David sitting on the floor holding his wrist, and Zane kneeling next to him recording the whole thing. I quickly walked over to David kneeling near to him as well.
"What happened?" I asked concerned
"Well I was trying to do this weird trick thing and I fell and landed on my wrist." He said wincing in pain remembering how the fall felt.
"Do you think it's broken?" Alex asked
"Yeah." David managed to say.
"Okay let's go to the hospital." Zane said helping David up and leading him out the door.
I got in the drivers seat and Zane led David into the passenger seat. Zane and Alex sat in the back. We began driving toward the hospital.
"Zane keep recording." David said gripping his wrist harder.
"I love how even after he broke a fucking bone he still wants to vlog." I laughed
Everyone else laughed too.
"Clickbait." David chuckled
"Okay but do you think this will get more or less views than you cutting your hand." Zane joked
"Oh definitely less, the hand one made a better thumbnail." Alex laughed
"Your right." David said wincing in pain again.
It seemed like it took forever but we made it to the hospital. Zane handed me the camera.
"Here vlog while I help David in the door." Zane said
I grabbed the camera and filmed us waking in the hospital and to the waiting room. We sat down in the waiting room chairs and made small talk.
"David what did I say before you went to the skating place." I said smiling
He giggled. Guilt was written all over him.
"I said if we had to go to the hospital that you owe me fifty bucks, pay up." I laughed
"Wait did you actually say that?" Zane asked
"Yeah." I giggled
Zane and Alex laughed loudly.
I nurse came in asking for David.
"You can bring one person with you." The nurse said
"Ava, come with me." David said standing up.
I stood up, handed the camera to Zane and followed David and the nurse to a room. I waited in the room while David got x-rays of his wrist. The nurse and David came back  to the small room I was waiting in. David sat on the bed in the room still gripping his wrist.
"Your wrist is broken sir, you need a cast." The woman said.
David chose to go with a removable wrap rather than an actual cast. The nurse put put wrap on Davids wrist and gave him directions  on how to remove it and such. I was so upset that he got hurt. We left the room and went out to the waiting room with Zane and Alex.
"It's definitely broken." David blurted out
