{Clarity}

In my sea of confusion he seemed to be my clarity. Though I didn't know what he wanted, I knew how I felt. When I'm around him my mind fills with nothing but dopamine. But when he's away I'm confused all over again. What does he want?

I went to my apartment and got changed. I went into the hallway and headed toward Davids place. I opened the apartment door to see David with his camera in his hand.
"What's the surprise?" I asked
"Go to the tesla." He said with and evil grin
"David?" I said
"Yeah?"
"Are we friends?" I asked
"Yeah, obviously."
"So if I go to the tesla there isn't going to be an alligator in it?"
"No there's no animals." David laughed
We headed to the tesla. We walked to the parking garage and we got in the car. David pulled out his camera again.
"Where do you think I'm taking you?" He smiled
"Hell." I joked
"Nooo." He said laughing
He put his camera down and started driving.
"Ava I promise you will be happy when you see where we are going."
"I'm scared." I chuckled
"Don't you trust me?" He said putting his hand on his chest pretending to be offended
"Yes I trust you, but I've also seen what you've done to people." I said
He laughed profusely.
"Okay we're here." He said
I look up from my phone to see David's house. I had never been there before.
He pulled out his vlog camera again.
"The surprise is that you get to hang out with me at my house all day." He giggled
"I knew you were taking me to hell." I joked
"Excuse me?" David said with an offended tone
"Just kidding." I laughed
We entered the house. It was beautiful. I looked around at all the stuff he had. It was so mesmerizing.
"So, do you like the place?" He asked
"Yeah it's so cool." I said smiling
"Well there's a surprise for you in the kitchen." He said
I peeked in the kitchen to see that David had gotten me chocolate covered strawberries, they were my favorite.
"Oh my god thank you David." I said running up and hugging him
He wrapped his arm around me. He pulled away from the hug slightly. His arms were around my waist. He leaned down and kissed me. The kiss slowly became a make out. It was so amazing. My heart rate was sky rocketing. But my mind was still a mess. I still didn't know what he wanted out of this. I pulled away from the kiss.
"Is there a problem?" He asked tilting his head slightly.
"Well no, it's not that I don't like doing this stuff with you but, what do you want out of this?" I asked
"I'm not really sure yet." He admitted
"So we're not a thing right?" I said
"No, not right now. I just wanna see where this goes." He said
"I'm okay with that." I said smiling and leaning in to kiss him again.
Kissing him was like a feeling I've never felt before. It feels so incredible. But it's unable to be put into words. You just feel it.
He leaned away with his hands still around my waist and my arms still around his neck.
"So do you wanna watch Netflix or something?" He asked
"Sure."
He pecked my lips one more time before going into his room and getting Netflix ready. I followed him. We sat on his bed together and we picked out a movie to watch on his tv. He put his arm around me. I couldn't express the way he makes me feel. It was too brilliant to put into words. But he only looked at what we have as something he was trying out, and it was fucking with my head. But of course I'll let it happen because his happiness will always come before mine. Because I think I might love him. Do I? I'm not sure. All I know is that I care about him far more then I care about myself. I draped my legs over his. He looked down at me and smiled.
"Why are you looking at me like that." I blushed
"Well, you're just...really cute." He smiled
I felt like I was going to explode. Does he like me or is he just fucking around?
He leaned down and kissed my nose. Davids phone buzzed. He checked it.
"Shit, Zane and Heath are coming over." David said
"Does this mean we can't cuddle any more?" I said with a sad face
"Yeah, it sucks." David said
"But they aren't here yet." I remarked
"You're right." David smirked
He kissed me. We were interrupted by David's phone buzzing again. He broke the kiss and checked his phone.
"Hey do you wanna go to a party? Zane and Heath are going to one at someones house and wondered if we wanna go."
I haven't been to a Hollywood party yet so I really wanted to go.
"I'll go, but only if you're coming." I smiled
"Sure I'll go." He responded
We heard a car pull into David's drive way. David and I instantly made eye contact out of panic. We stood up almost immediately and rushed to the living room. We desperately tried to look casual and sit down. Zane opened the front door and gave us a weird look, followed by Heath who did the same thing.
"Why do you guys look like you just hooked up and ran out here cause you heard our car?" Zane said
Davids eyes were wide and I could feel my face blush.
"Oh my god you guys totally slept together!" Heath said with shock
"You guys are so dumb, Ava and I are just friends." David remarked
"How come Ava was blushing David?" Zane said
"Because that's a weird thing to say and we weren't really prepared to hear that" David defended
"Why are you being so defensive David?" Heath questioned
"Shut up." David laughed
"Fine. Are you guys ready to go to this party?" Heath asked
"We're going right now?" I asked
"Yeah, are you both coming?" Zane asked
"Yep." David responded
"Let's go." I said standing up and putting on my shoes
"Ooo Ava baby, you are ready to party." Zane said in his girly voice that he uses in the vlogs.
"Hell yeah!" I said followed by everyone's laughter.
