I brush the bangs
behind her lovely little ear
as she describes in detail
how the end is truly near.
And I know that
we could do this for forever,
or until we drink the poison
cause we see some cloudy weather.

The text said to meet him outside my apartment. I had to film a video and wanted to focus on myself for a second. But I guess not.
I opened my apartment door to see Alex standing there.
"What do you need?" I asked
"I heard you and David did stuff after we all played truth or dare." He said
"Yeah I guess." I said
"You slept with him after we kissed. That's fucking low." He said with anger in his tone.
"Why does it matter to you? Our kiss was nothing but a dare. I love you Alex, but not like that." I said
"Do you love him?" He asked
"Who David?"
"Yeah, do you love him more than a friend." He said with a sad look
I looked at down at my feet and then back up at Alex.
"Yes." I responded.
"Well what if I liked you like that?" Alex said
"Then I would feel bad for you." I said
"Why?" He laughed
"Because I know how much it sucks to love someone that doesn't love you back." I said
"So we could never be something." He said with a sad expression
"I'm sorry." I said
"I knew this was gonna fucking happen." He said under his breath slightly.
I hugged him. It's all I could think to do. He hugged me back.
"Alex, you are going to find a girl that loves you. And just because that girl isn't me, doesn't mean that girl doesn't exist." I said pulling away from the hug.
"You're a good friend. Thanks." He said walking back to his apartment.
"Bye Alex, I love you buddy." I giggled
"Love you too pal." He laughed walking back into his apartment.
I chuckled and went back into my apartment as well.
I finished my haul video and I started putting my filming equipment away. My phone buzzed again. This time it was a text from David.
David: can I come over to your apartment? I'm done eating with Jason and Trish.
Ava: yeah.

I couldn't wait to see David. I just wish that we could be something serious. Sometimes when I get too deep into my thoughts I feel as if he's using me. And I wouldn't see it because love is blind. I can't help but wonder if this is a waste of time. But I don't want it to be because the love I feel is real. But I can't get into Davids head and I won't know until he shows me.
I shook those thoughts out of my head and sat on the couch on my phone until David got here. I decided to post a picture of David and I on Instagram. I captioned it with just some heart emojis. At the time I didn't think anything of it.
A knock at the door snapped me out of my daze. I opened the door to see David. He had a bag of chick-fil-a in his hand.
"Hiiii." He said walking in the door.
He set the bag of food in my hands.
"I brought you food because I like you." He said in his baby voice.
"Thank you." I smiled.
He opened his arms.
"Can I have a hug?" He asked in his baby voice as well.
"Yes." I responded hugging him tightly.
He kissed the top of my head.
I leaned in to kiss him. He backed away.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"We can't kiss I might get cooties." He joked
I rolled my eyes.
"Just kidding." He laughed leaning in and kissing me.
He broke the kiss but still had his arms around me.
"Hey I've been thinking about us a lot and I feel like in order to go further with what we have we need to go a step up." He said
"What are you saying?" I asked
"I want to be more than just friends with benefits." He said
"Are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" I said
"Do you wanna be my girlfriend?" He asked
"Yeah." I giggled
"Then I guess that makes me your boyfriend." He said cheerily.
My heart jumped. I finally felt like I was in the place I was always so pose to be. And that place was with David.
I buried my face into his chest.
"You are so perfect you know that? And I was kinda to afraid to tell you that, because I was afraid you'd think I was creepy, but since you're my girlfriend you can't think I'm weird." He laughed.
"Aww I don't think it's creepy. You're so cute." I responded.
"You're cute too." He smiled
I released my self from his grip and sat on the couch. David sat next to me. I looked over at David who was on his phone.
"Are you sure you want this? Us together?" I asked
"It's all I want." He replied
"Are you going to take us seriously?" I asked
"Why do you have doubts? I really like you. Why can't you trust me?" He asked
"Because I've had guys hurt me before, and you've hurt me before." I said
"I don't think you understand, I want to be with you. I want you and no one else. No one comes close to you Ava." He said
I laid my head on his shoulder.
"I like you a lot." He said followed by him kissing my head.
"I like you too." I responded.
He put his hand on my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"I'm bored." I said stretching and laying my head on his lap.
He smiled at me.
"Well what do you wanna do?" He asked
"I don't know." I laughed
"Well do you wanna go somewhere, do you wanna film something?" He asked
"No I'm too lazy to leave my apartment but I wanna do something here." I said
"Like what do you mean, like do you wanna fuck or something?" He laughed
I made a shocked expression and slapped Davids arm.
"Ow, What? It's not like we haven't done it before." He laughed.
I got up and scooted away from him on the couch.
"I don't wanna sit with you any more." I joked crossing my arms.
"No come back." He whined
He scooted over to me and laid his head in my lap. He looked up at me making a pouty face.
"Stop you're getting all cute."I giggled
I ran my fingers through his hair.
"I think your hair is thinning." I joked
He sat up.
"Stop it. I'm insecure about my hair line." He laughed
I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"You are fine." I said leaning in and kissing his nose.
"You're stupid." He chuckled
"Well you're dating me so I guess that makes you just as stupid." I retorted
He giggled. He lifted my chin and kissed me.
The kiss deepened and I straddled Davids lap. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. My tongue slipped into his mouth as did his in vice versa. I fluttered kisses down his jawline and then back up to his lips. His hand crept down my waist to my thigh. His lips found their way down my neck causing goose bumps to coat my skin. He nipped at any piece is of skin he could find. The hickeys that were already on my neck became a deeper shade of violet. His lips crashed back into mine. With out breaking the kiss he positioned himself so he was on top of me. I stopped kissing him. He looked at me and furrowed his brows.
"You okay?" He asked confused
"I feel like we're going a little too fast, you just asked me to be your girlfriend, you know?" I said
"Well if you're not comfortable then I don't wanna go any further but I don't really get it since we literally had sex like a day ago." He said getting off of me and sitting up.
I sat up too.
"Like you said we literally hooked up a day ago, its not that I don't enjoy doing things like that with you, it's just that I feel like I want to just relax with you tonight." I said
"It's okay, if you're not feeling it right now then we don't have to do anything, I'm not making you do anything unless you want to." He explained.
I looked at him in an almost apologetic way.
"Come here." He said gesturing me to cuddled with him.
I scooted close to him and he put his arm around me pulling me closer to him.
"I like you a lot, not matter what." He said kissing my cheek
"I like you too." I blushed.
