Hi, lovely readers. I am not sure if may problema pa ba ang Wattpad. I want you to know that it's beyond my control. Nagkaproblema din ako from my end. :(

Here's the new chapter.  I hope magustuhan ninyo. 

"Dengue, huh?"

Isang ngiti ang isinagot ni Curt sa tanong ni Calvin. He's with the rest of the cool kids visiting him in the hospital.

Curt did not start the cool kids' group. He was recruited when he was in Grade 8 and has been a member since then. Naging leader siya ng grupo when he became a senior student. The position was passed on to him when the previous leader graduated. At ganoon din ang gagawin niya pag-graduate niya. He will pass the position to Cal, who is a junior right now and the most qualified among the group.

Nagalit siya dito noon dahil sinuway nito ang sinabi niya tungkol kay Kat. He literally defied him but he has forgiven him now.

"Yeah, dengue. I didn't know where I got it," ang sagot ni Curt.

Naupo si Calvin sa upuan na nasa gilid ng hospital bed. Ang mga kasamahan nito ay abala sa panonood ng isang video sa cellphone.

"So, when are you going home?"

"I don't know yet. But I feel a lot better so I think it'll be sooner," sagot ni Curt.

"That's a relief," ang sabi ni Cal. "Did your teammates visit you already?"

Tumango si Curt.

"Yeah, they did. Coach visited me once. Jacques and the guys were here a couple of times," ang sagot niya.

He misses soccer terribly. Gusto na nga niyang makalabas ng hospital para makapag-practice para sa nalalapit nilang tournament.

"Speaking of Jacques, are the rumors true?"

"What rumors?" Nalilitong tanong ni Curt. Binisita siya ni Jacques pero wala naman itong nabanggit sa kanya.

Napakamot sa ulo si Calvin bago sumagot.

"We're cool about Kat, right? I mean...you know I'm sorry about what I did but..."

"What about Kat?" Tanong ni Curt.

"Rumor has it that Jacques is courting Kat," mahinang sabi ni Cal. Sinusulyapan niya ang abala pa rin niyang mga kaibigan. He wants to make sure na hindi narinig ng mga ito ang sinabi niya.

"What?! Is that true?" Gulat na tanong ni Curt.

Nagkibit-balikat si Cal.

"I don't know pero 'yun ang narinig ko," ang sabi nito.

"Did you see them together?"

"No, no, no. I didn't. Those were just rumors. It might not even be true," natatarantang sabi ni Cal. "Oh my god, I'm so f*ckin stupid. Please don't tell Jacques that I told you about it. I mean...I...I'm just concerned. If I can't be with Kat then he shouldn't be, right? Yun lang naman ang dahilan kung bakit ko sinabi sa'yo."

"It's alright, Cal. Calm down. I don't believe it's true but I will surely talk to Jacques."

"Do you want to go somewhere else before I drive you home?"

Napatingin si Kat kay Jacques. He wasn't looking at her habang nagsasalita. Nakatingin ito sa daan habang nagmamaneho. Kahahatid lang nila kay Vanessa.
