Chapter 6: The Mysterious Island

Skylar's P.O.V 

"Stoick?" I asked astonished. He looked at me strangely. I mean who wouldn't, a dragon comes pocking his head through your door, what would you do?

Realizing that Stoick had never seen me like this before and new nothing of my 'powers.' I backed out and  changed. It is a wierd sensation your eyes travelling down to be at a normal persons hieght. Stoick was now standing at the door, his mouth open in a silent O. The man who had led me to the house shouted something excitedly before running off as fast as he could in his old age. 

"Stoick, I need you help." I said running up the steps and pushing past him. 

"Skylar?" He said his eyes wide. I sighed. 

"Yes I am a dragon, logn story, no time."

"Ok..." He said slightly taken aback. "What can I help you with." 

Now that he had got over his initial shock he was holding himself more chief like.

"I need to get back to-" I began but was interupted by the thudding of feet running down the street.

'Looks like the locals don't get many dragon/human hybrids.' Sapphire said through our connection. 

"Totally" I laughed.

"What?" Asked Stoick confused.

"doesn't matter, look I need a map to Berk, like now!" I said. 

Stoick walked swiftly to a cupboard and opened it reveling stacks of maps. “It’s old, but it will do, say hello to Hiccup for me.” He said his voice softening.

“Will do Chief.” I said saluting; this brought a smile to his face. I nodded turning to the closed door. I was surprised to hear the thumping of fists on it. I sprinted at the window instead and leaped out, skidding a bit as I landed in the dirt. There was shouting coming from the front of the house. After stuffing the map into the satchel at my side I jogged around.

“People please, no need to bash the man’s door down.” I said stepping out in front of the crowd who all turned to me excitedly.

“You!” said one woman, “you were a dragon, he said you changed into a human!” Indicating the man. 

I chuckled slightly.

“Yes, I am a human, “ I said turning around so they could see I didn’t have a tail…yet. “But I am also a dragon.” I changed fast. They applauded.

I turned away from them and leaped into the air, beating my powerful wings. I let out a burst of flames, the fire licking my mouth.

‘Thank you for being such a good audience!’ I spoke through their minds.

“You really are a crowd pleaser aren’t you.” Sapphire said chuckling as we flew north.

“I couldn’t deny them a show!” I protested.

“So we know were we are going?” Felix asked seriously.

“Yep, Berk here we come!” I roared soaring upwards.

Willow’s P.O.V

I couldn’t bear to sleep near my hometown after the horrors it had faced. So I flew through the night carrying Bailee on my back until we came to the next island. Now that I had reached this island, I was wishing that we had stayed. This new island was to.... perfect. Crystal clear waters; blue sky; luscious green fields. But no sign of civilization. Surely, with all its resources, someone would have come across it? But I couldn't think about it now. I needed to sleep.
