One month later

HAILEY'S POV

"Hey, are you coming?" The same sweet and affectionate voice called over.

It made me smile. He cared for me so much, it even reflected in his voice.

"Where are we going?" I asked, pulling over my hoodie. It was cold outside today.

"You'll see," I could hear him speak with a smirk.

I laughed softly and walked out the door, following him.

We walked together in silence and it was extremely pleasing. His hand was gently caressing mine and that gesture made me heart flutter.

That was the first time I actually felt something like this. It was such a different feeling and I wanted to feel it forever.

I could just see his lips and they were a perfect shade of pink. They were soft and I just wanted to feel them on mine.

My cheeks heated at the thought. He was so perfect.

We reached a small house and he smiled at me.

"This is it?" I asked and he nodded.

"C'mon," he pulled me by the hand and he pulled me inside.

It was a small shack-like place with a door at the back and the front. At the back, it opened to the forest.

We sat down on the floor at the back door and I laid my head on his shoulder.

"This is so beautiful," I murmured.

I could hear the birds chirping, wind blowing and a faint sound of a river flowing.

"Not as much as you," he said and kissed my head.

I still couldn't see his face.

Who is this boy that makes me feel like this? Who is he that has the most perfect lips? Who is he that treats me so well?

So many questions were running through my mind.

He looked over at me and I saw a smile on his lips. I smiled back, my heart rate increasing.

"I, um, I wanna kiss you so bad," I heard him say.

I stayed silent, not knowing what to do or say.

"Can I?" He asked again.

I found myself leaning in towards his lips. He met me halfway and as soon as my lips touched his, I felt like I had reached another universe. Everything around me stopped and all I could feel were his lips on mine and hands on my face.

My fingers found his hair and I ran them through it.

He pulled away after a few seconds, much to my disappointment, and pecked them again.

"You're perfect, Hailey," he whispered and kissed me again.

Perfect? I was no where near perfect. I had brain cancer and I was going to die.

But maybe I won't feel so bad about going now.

I woke up with a smile on my face. That was one vivid dream.

I ran my thumb across my lower lip, remembering the feel of those lips on mine.

Who is this boy?
