"i never thought i would see the day you and hoseok got married. it's kind of surreal." sooyoung smiled at me as she put some final touches on my makeup.
"honestly? i don't think any of us did." i giggled. "but i truly couldn't be happier."
"it's amazing how we've all managed to stay friends these past 10 years; all 13 of us." seulgi spoke up from the other side of the room.
all of us girls agreed.
"i can't imagine us not being friends though, even after everything we've all been through. we're a really special group of people." i smiled softly to myself.
"we better all still be friends when it's time for jooheon and i to get married."
we all laughed quietly. "has he even proposed yet, sooyoung?" seungwan asked.
sooyoung avoided the question, suddenly asking where her phone was.
all of us laughed some more until we heard light knocks on the door, signaling that it was time to get moving.

"ew! mommy, you dated uncle hyungwon?" soyoon, hoseok and i's eight year old daughter cringed as i told her the story of how hoseok and i ended up together.
i laughed at the girl.
"it's a good thing she did! she may have never realized how awesome i am." hoseok appeared next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders and giving me a gentle kiss on the lips.
"ew! no kissing!" soyoon cringed yet again, causing laughter to erupt from my husband and i.
after a few minutes, the three of us settled in on the couch after picking a movie to watch together.
but i wasn't focusing on the movie. i was focusing on how happy the two people beside me made me, and how i really couldn't ask for a better life with my best friend.
the end.
