a/n: this update is a whole 37829 years later than i wanted it to be i'm so sorry i pinky promise that he next chapter will come out sooner!! also i didn't proof read this so like nicely point out my errors please

"so how has your first week as hyungwon's girlfriend been?" changkyun asked me as we left our last class.

"awful. i'm gonna dump him soon."

changkyun gave my shoulder a shove. "shut the fuck up. that's a lie, right?"

i started laughing and nodding. "yes, you asshole." i rubbed where he shoved me dramatically. "now i have a broken shoulder."

he laughed with me. "it wasn't that hard, don't be a baby."

i rolled my eyes as our laughter died down. "it's actually been a really great week." a small smile crawled across my face as my cheeks started to heat up.

"are you two gonna do anything to celebrate one week?"

"we are." hyungwon appeared next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. "she just doesn't know what it is yet."

he planted a kiss on my temple, a smile spreading across my face as he did so.

"you two are so cute! i'm sad, i want a relationship!" changkyun whined as the three of us left the school building.

"so tell kihyun you like-"

before hyungwon could finish the sentence, changkyun ran around me and hit his shoulder. "i'm not gonna embarrass myself. there's literally zero chances of him liking me back."

"hey, you never know. i thought there were zero chances of hyunmi liking me, but now look at us." hyungwon gave my shoulder a small squeeze, glancing down at me with a smile.

changkyun just shook his head, brushing off the idea, telling hyungwon he was being crazy.

"oh, look," changkyun pointed to something in the distance. "it's our two-day-old couple.

i looked to where he was pointing. hoseok and somi were walking together, holding hands and laughing with each other.

the two of them looked absolutely elated. it was nice to hoseok that happy, though i couldn't help but also feel a bit bitter.

for some reason, seeing them together gave me such a negative feeling, no matter how hard i tried to be happy for my best friend.

"hyunmi, we're here. "

i shook my head lightly, looking up to see that hyungwon and i arrived at his house.

i looked over at hyungwon to see him giving me a concerned look. i forced a small smile as i walked past him and into his home.

he walked us to his living room, telling me to have a seat, relax, and watch tv before walking off into the kitchen.

as i was flipping through channels, i couldn't help but continue to think of hoseok and somi.

the couple had walked to somi's house, and hoseok was probably having a great time.

but why isn't he having a great time with me? i pouted and let out a sigh.

"hyunmi! come into the kitchen!" hyungwon yelled to me.

i turned off the tv, standing up from the couch and walking to the kitchen.

hyungwon was standing next to the kitchen which had two plates of food and a lit candle in the middle.

"sorry it took so long to prepare, i wanted everything to be perfect for you." hyungwon pulled out a seat for me to sit in while i realized the sun had already started setting.

i offered hyungwon a smile before sitting down. he quickly ran to sit down across from me, a soft smile on his face.

i looked down at the meal he made which looked absolutely delicious. when i looked back at him, i couldn't help but keep the smile on my face.

"you're the sweetest. thank you so much."

"there's no need to thank me, bun. i'd do anything to make you feel happy."
