It's like a bad dream that is too afraid to wake
There are many among us

The group had sat down on the roof, the sunlight slowly rising as Lynn held my hand. Her brown hair in the messy bun that she usually wore.

A few strands that had fell out, her green eyes locked to the sky. I took in every single feature of her, the her nose twitched when she was nervous. The way she was doing it now, her smile on her face.

Her green eyes, the very first thing that attracted to me her. Her caring nature, how she had been my rock for the past three weeks. How she listened to me completely break down over a boy that never once loved me.

Most of all, how in three weeks that i would be sitting on this roof. How i would realize two days into everything, that i was in love with her. That maybe, just maybe i was meant to be hurt, so that i could be with her in the end.

I listened to the birds chirping, the honking cars and Alex and Brian's laughter filling the silent morning as they told jokes and play fought with each other.

"Here it is!"

Lynn pointed to the sky, her whole entire face lighting up as the sun rose to the surface. She grabbed her phone and snapped a photo of it.

One thing that i had learned about Lynn, she loved art. Anything that meant some sort of self expression, she always saw the beauty in damaged things. Broken things, it's what made me fall for her.

"It's so beautiful."

I spoke, my hand gripping Lynn's hand tighter. She turned to face me, her smile on her face as she watched me take it all in.

"Yeah, it is."

I turned to look at her, her other hand cupping my face as she pulled her face closer to mine. Her eyes taking in everything.

Her lips pressed to mine, her other hand removing itself from my grip as she moved it to my hip.

"Wooo! It's daytime!" Alex shouted.

The sound of the guys screaming causing you both to look over to them, both of them running around the roof. Their arms frailing around as they chased each other.

"Thanks for ruining a perfectly good moment assholes!" Lynn shouted as she wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"So welcome Gunnulfsen!" Brian shouted as he continued to run around.

The group had all gathered in the hallway, Lynn's hand going to her back as she reached for mine. I connected mine with hers, following behind as the head nurse lead us to the art room.

The activity for today to make something that makes us happy, everyone creating different things. Lynn reached for the beads as she began to make a bracelet.

Different colored beats going on them, a few charms that had different little designs going on them. I watched as the rest of the group finished the different art pieces.

We were lead back to our rooms, a few going to their friends room as Lynn followed me to mine. Her hand in mine as she helped me in the bed.

She climbed in beside me and rested her head on my chest, she looked at my fingers as she listened to my heart beat.

"I got something for you."

She reached into the back of her jeans, the bracelet from earlier that she had made being pulled out. She reached for my hand, "come here."

I obeyed and reached out for her hand. She slipped the bracelet on my wrist. She brought my hand to her lips and pressed a kiss.

"It's for you, kinda figured i would make my girlfriend something." She smiled.

"We aren't together though." I smiled as i studied the bracelet.

"Yes you are, kinda obvious you two are." Brian spoke.

Brian sat down on the couch, Alex following behind as they sat down by each other. Their usual antics happening as they smacked each other's leg.

"What he said." Lynn smiled, her hand now at my check running circles.

"You are just desperate for me to be yours." I
smiled.

Lynn nodded as she flicked her eyes to my lips, hers connected to mine. Her hand at my cheek.

"God, get a room." Brian scoffed as he turned to Alex.

Alex's laugh filling the room as Lynn opened her eyes and looked to them rolling them.
