Your pov

The sound of the door being opened rang your ears as you entered the cafè nearby, the sweet aroma that lingers through your nose was just heaven for you, you looked around only to see the two of your bestest friend, waving at you, you smiled to yourself and lead your way to them

"Hey" you greeted as you sat down beside them

"What did you call me for?" I asked as I looked at them being hesitant

"Just a little chitchat" Y/B/N said

You nodded and ordered yourself a drink, hours passed by and having a conversation with them was fun, you got to reminisce some happy pasts and some of the sad ones, but being the observant you are, they were hiding something, it's like they're scared to open it up to you

"Okay girls, what was really the main reason that you called me in for?" I asked as they looked at each other for a second

"You...have a boyfriend right?" One of my bestfriend said

"Yeah, why?"

"Kim Taehyung and this is him right?" They said as they held one of their phones to show me a picture, it was taehyung kissing someone at the park

"T-that's not him" I said trying not to believe them

"Y/N, you do know that it's him right?" She asked as she looked at me

"N-No, he can't do this, he's a sweet person, he loves me, I think you mistook him for another person" you defended trying to hold up the heartbreak that was building in inside you

"I need to go" you quickly said as you took your purse and left the cafè

Your head was blank, you can't even think straight, seeing taehyung at that picture with another woman breaks you, the both of you are fine, how can this news escalate so quickly? There's nothing wrong between the two of you neither the both of you got into a fight, you heavily sighed as you looked up trying to hold back the tears

"I need to see it with my own eyes first" I mumbled to myself before hurrying back home

"I'm home" Taehyung's voice lingered your ears the moment he stepped inside your apartment

"Where have you been?" I asked him smiling sweetly as always, I don't want blowing up my cover

"Just a little hangout with the boys, I can't wait to tell you the story of Yoongi hyung falling in his butt, it was hilarious!" He laughed as I only smiled

"Alright, settle down while I cook us dinner...... you have a lot of things to tell me..." I said and left him taking his shoes off

You set the food down the table after cooking, he was there smiling at you while looking at you setting down the table

"Eat up" I said as he did

"So as I was saying, Yoongi hyung fell off his chair and..." you only looked at him while he was telling his story, you were contemplating whether to ask him or not since he was in a really good mood

"Hey tae?" You started finally having your chosen decision

"Hmm?" He asked while looking at you

"Do you...love me?" I asked leaning towards the table as I looked at him, he paused for a second before coughing, I pursed my lips as I looked at his every move while getting a glass of water

"Y-Yeah" he answered while wiping his lips and returned to eating

You sat down properly and just smiled, of course you weren't contented with his answer, he doesn't mean it and you know it

"I love you" You said as you looked at his eyes

"Why are you suddenly being like this anyways?" He said avoiding my statement

"Taehyung-ah, you're not cheating on me, are you?" You softly said, his face changed expression

"What are you talking about?" He asked as he sternly looked at me, you know he's already changing his mood

"My friends....told me that-"

"Your friends again!" He yelled slamming the table as he stood up

"You kept listening to those nonsense things your friends are telling you!" He yelled before going upstairs, tears started to fall the moment I knew he wasn't there anymore

"Those weren't nonsense, they were all true" I said while fiddling with my fingers

You stayed at the kitchen for awhile before going upstairs and laying down with him, but instead of sleeping, you only closed your eyes since there were so many things going through your head, hours passed by and you finally calmed your thoughts down before opening your eyes to see the wall clock infront of you

"I wish I can see the truth" you wished and closed your eyes, the moment you were about to fall into a deep slumber, you felt taehyung getting up, you waited for him to leave and you clearly saw him while squinting your eyes a little so that you can see that he dressed himself in the middle of the night, when you knew the moment is right, you opened your eyes and decided to stalk him

You walked behind him from a safe distance where he can't see nor sense you, you saw him walk inside a famous hotel and followed after him, in great surprise, you saw him, kissing the girl he just walked passed by, they were smiling at each other so happily, my heart was indeed broken, I want to yell and slap the hell out of them but I suddenly remembered...

People who doesn't care about my feelings don't deserve any effort from me

I only looked at them when Taehyung suddenly locked eyes with me, I only smiled before leaving him, I heard him yell my name but I kept walking trying to hold my tears, I felt something grab my arm and it was Taehyung, he was panting and you can clearly see it with all of the smoke erupting his beautiful lips

"It's not what it looks like" he explained holding my hand

"Then what it is then? Why did you do that? Did I lack of giving you something that can make you satisfied?" You said crying just like him

"No, you didn't lack of anything, it's just that I wasn't contented" he said crying, you took your hand away from him

"You should've said so, we're over Kim Taehyung" you said before leaving him alone in this cold gloomy night, it made his heart ache when he heard his full name being spoken

"I thought I don't need you..." he mumbled

"But I was wrong"
