"Y/N, you made it" You looked shock at the view infront of you, Jungkook was in a tuxedo while holding a bouquet of roses, his backyard was filled with lights, roses everywhere, a long table displayed with candles and your food was at the middle waiting for you

"Jungkook..."

"I'm glad you made it, sit." He said holding my hand but I had to stop him, I really just have to

"Jungkook...what's this? You know I'm gonna be married soon, why are you doing this?" You said gently, trying not to hurt his feelings

He only smiled sweetly and gave a squeeze in my hand

"Just this night Y/N, please" he said and walked you to the table, you love him only as a best friend and nothing more, you knew about his feelings towards you and you both talked about it, he clearly understood that you love someone else, in fact you're gonna be married soon, and by soon, you mean next week and it's with his best friend

He pulled you a chair before making you sit, you only looked at his back as he walked towards the seat infront of you before sitting down, he smiled and looked at you

"You look beautiful Y/N, too beautiful" you saw it, you saw how his eyes shows that he's hurt and you can't do anything about it, you know that you can never love him more than a friend and his heartbreak makes your heart break too, you made up your mind, you're gonna give yourself to him tonight, maybe just this once, you can make up to him, just like he said

"Just this night"

"Thank you Jungkook" I said and gave him a small smile

The night went by just like a normal dinner, no one had the strength to open up the topic of you being married to someone else that's why your sweet dinner was filled with sweet reminiscing, you only talked about your memories together, like how the both of you met and how Jungkook confessed to you, silence erupted between of you when it was mentioned, it was awkward for you and embarrassing for Jungkook

"Jungkook, Why are you doing this? You're only hurting yourself you know-"

"Can I have this dance Y/N?" He stood up clearly avoiding your question

You pursed your lips while looking at his hand infront of yours, you looked up to see how his eyes were so happy above yours, it was anticipating for you, you gave him a small smile before standing up to grab his hand and dance with him in the middle, a song came on, it was bruno mars' cover of Adele's "All I ask"

His hand went to your waist holding you close, his hand was so gentle, it was like you were so fragile that he might break you any second now, he was holding you with so much care and passion that it's hurting you too much, the both of you started swaying side by side letting yourself drown in the music

"Hold me like I'm more than just a friend~"

He suddenly sings, you knew he means those words

"Give me a memory I can use~" your eyes met his joyful ones, his eyes were never leaving yours, his hand softly caressing your waist

"Take me by the hand while we do, what lovers do"

His hand suddenly grabbed yours as he placed it around his waist pulling you more closer

Just this once, you'll make him happy, you thought

"It matters how it ends, cause what if I never love again~"

"Y/N" he finally spoke after throwing those meant lyrics to you

"Jungkook..." you said letting go to face him

"All I ask is if this is my last night with you, hold me like I'm more than just a friend, give me a memory I can use, take me by the hand while we do what lovers do, it matters how this ends, cause what if I never love again" he said, you heard it from the song, the thing is, he wasn't singing it, he was looking at you eye to eye and you knew that he meant it

"Jungkook, don't make this hard for us, please" you said and teared up, his eyes softened, he wiped your tears using his thumb while sweetly smiling at you

"I'm sorry, don't worry, just this night Y/N, after this..."

"I'll let you go."
