"Saengil chukahamnida, saengil chukahamnida, saranghago uri jungkookie, saengil chukahamnida!"

The lights turned on before the sound of the most important people in my life sang a birthday song holding a cake while the banner saying Happy Birthday was hanging just above my eyes, I looked around them feeling happy and all, all of their eyes that kept meeting mine

"Saengil Chukahae maknae!" My members came in hugging me as tears suddenly escaped my eyes

"Our Jungkookie is crying!" Jimin yelled making me smile

"Yah don't cry" Jin said calming the maknae

"Let's eat!" Hoseok said as the others nodded following him to the kitchen

The night came by and we were still up playing some games and bonding together until the door bell rang

"Oh I think she's here!" Jimin stood up and walked to the door

Don't tell me...

"I'm glad you came!" Jimin hugged the figure at the door frame as this figure hugged her back

"Hello!" I heard her yell as my eyes twinkled seeing her smile

"Y/N!" The others chimed as they saw her

"I'll greet you later in private" She whispered while hugging me as my heart began to throb with her simple gesture

"You're getting old!" She joked while ruffling my hair

I've been crushing on her since the day I met her again....

"Have you eaten yet babe?" Jimin butted in snaking his arms around her waist

"Yeah I did" She said and smiled at me

Only the three of us knows that she was my ex, we separated when I was still a trainee but soon cutted my connections with her just because I felt like I don't need her anymore but then this day came where Jimin hyung introduced her as his girlfriend and that's when I thought

"Let's play some games!" Taehyung shouted just before the boys shouted and followed him to the living room

The night got deeper and deeper as my heavy eyelids refused to close because I might miss this beautiful view infront of me

Her smile...

Her eyes...

Her laugh...

Everything about her is already enough for my heart to beat that fast

"Where are you going?" Namjoon asked me as I stood up

"I'll just be in my room" I said finally giving up as I was already dozing off

*knock *knock

"Kookie?"

I looked over to the door as I saw her peeking over

"Come in" I said as she came in and closed the door

"What's the problem?"

"Nothing, I just wanna say Happy Birthday to you" She said and smiled

"Y/N-ah"

"I'm glad you grow up to be this successful" She continued

"Yah" I gently said

"I'm so proud of you, you're still the same over the yea-"

"I still love you!" I shouted as her face showed me a bitter smile

"That's what I thought kookie" she said locking eyes with me

"Y/N, please come back" I already cried as I quickly hugged her

"Kookie-ah, I'm sorry" She took my arms and gently pulled me away from her

"I'd be glad to be with you again but first, think before you do anything, Happy Birthday again Kookie-ah" She said her final word and left my room leaving me dumbfounded crying...
