Taehyung: You should've told me Part.2

Taehyung's pov

It's has been a week since she broke up with me and until this day, I was still left oblivious about the reason she broke up with me, I mean we're okay, we didn't even fought nor had a misunderstanding, it was just too sudden

"Hyung, you should just move on you know, explore the sea, there's still many fishes on the hook hyung, you just gotta take one, I mean you're handsome and Y/N isn't the only one who's inlove with you, if you know what I mean" Jungkook said making Taehyung sigh

"It's not that easy, you and I both know she's the one for me, I can't change that and neither my heart could" he said

"I know but-"

"I need to meet her" Taehyung trailed off before leaving Jungkook dumbfounded in their room

"Hyung no!" Jungkook shouted, but Taehyung was already too preoccupied to hear his call

Taehyung dialed your phone a hundred times but you just couldn't be reached, on the other hand, you knew he was calling but you had to restrain yourself from answering, you need to let go of him before it hurts him

"Y/N? Sweetie?" You looked up to see your mother smiling at you

"Yes mom?"

"Are you ready to go?" She asked and you nodded

"Alright, get ready and go downstairs, we'll be waiting" your mother said, but before she could close the door, you stood up making her startled

"Mom, I just have to do something" you said and took your purse before running outside the house but had suddenly come to a halt when your chest suddenly tightened, you took your medicines from your purse and gulped down one pill without any water, you were left sitting at the ground, you're faith in humanity instantly crashed when they just gave you weird looks and uneasy glares like you were something weird and dangerous

"Y/N?!" You looked up to see Jungkook running towards you

"Are you alright?" He said and craddled you in his arms

"Let's talk kook." You said making him look at you puzzzled

"What?!" He exclaimed after hearing your story

It was true, you need to go to another country for your heart surgery, yes it was hard for you to hide it from Taehyung and you need to break up with him so he wouldn't be too hurt

"It's all true Jungkook, please don't tell Taehyung everything I've said, just tell him a lie like I'm dating someone else now" You said and Jungkook kept shaking his head

"The both of you should talk, don't drag me into this, you know you've become a friend of mine too and I understand you and I'm also worried about you but I think it's the best if Taehyung could know the truth, you know?" Jungkook said and you only kept silent

He's right but you can't, you can't imagine him crying infront of your lifeless body, it's better to leave him remembering only anger instead of sadness and longing towards you

You broke down, your eyes suddenly spilled out gallons of tears and thankfully, Jungkook was there to hug and comfort you

"I'm here to support you okay? We're all in this, Namjoon hyung, Jin hyung, Suga hyung, Hoseok hyung, Jimin hyung and as well as Taehyung hyung are here to root for you, don't even think you won't be able to come back, that's not the Y/N we know" he said and caressed your hair, you thought of it and the only thing you were waiting for was a sign

"Y-Y/N?" The both of you went to turn your heads towards the owner of the voice and saw a raging Taehyung at the door, Jungkook stood up first followed by you

"Hyung, it's not what you think it is"

The three of you fell silent until Taehyung laughed bitterly

"Your line is too cliché dear brother.." Taehyung said to Jungkook before turning his head towards you

"And you.." Taehyung's voice began to crack, the tears he was holding earlier gushed out of his eyes making your heart sank

This is what you were scared of.

But this is also the sign you were wishing for.

"I still don't get it why you suddenly broke up with me but then after seeing this? You should've just told me you have someone else now" Taehyung trailed off using his energy left, he was already too drained out, his body felt heavy and....useless. From all of the running he did just to find you earlier has come to this, seeing you in his brother's arms

"Hyung" Jungkook tried to step closer towards him but you suddenly spoke

"Taehyung.."

"Don't talk to me ever again, neither of you" Taehyung said and ran outside the house

Jungkook then looked at you before caressing your back

"It'll be alright, you need to go home" He said

"I'm sorry Jungkook, I'm too self-centered to realize that dragging you in this was a big mistake, I shouldn't have, I'm so sorry" you cried

"It's fine, I can fix this but when it comes to your relationship? I can promise you that I'm no help" he said cracking a smile

He took you home and there was your mother looking worried at you, Jungkook left just right after you got inside, your mother sat you back down the sofa to get you some water, she then hurried up to come back and sat down beside you

"Sweetie, where have you gone to?" She asked

You only smiled at her before leaning your head towards her shoulder

"Mom, I think I've already made a decision" You said

"What is it sweetie?" She asked

"I want to cancel the surgery"
